So I needed to post this somewhere and figured fb probably wasn't a great idea, but we have our date and venue secured!!! 9/10/11 at the Seacoast Science Center in Rye! We're so excited about the venue because its on the water (ceremony and reception) which we both LOVE. We also get to use the Science Center during the reception, which means guests can go in and check out the exhibits etc if they want, which I think is fun (probably mainly during cocktail hour or later in the reception if they want a break from dancing). I'm a little concerned about the lack of responsiveness from the event coordinator there, but my parents want to hire a wedding planner (they're paying thank goodness!) since we're planning it long-distance (parents are there, we're not), so I'm hoping she will be a little more pushy if we need answers quickly. Yay!! Just had share in an overly excited way!!!
