Desperately need help! What to wear with this dress?

Hi everyone,

This is my gown, and I need help figuring out what sort of shaper/bustier etc. to wear under this dress? I feel I'll definitely need a pushup/padded since the gown ties up at the back and makes me look flat
And can I wear funky pink colored shoes? Or it will take away from the look of the dress?

It is your wedding and you can do and wear whatever you want. It depends on the style of your wedding. A lot of brides are choosing to wear colored shoes, or even blue ones for their something blue. As far as undergarments go, if it has a built in corset, you should be fine. My dress had a built in corset and I didn't wear anything besides panties under it.

your dress is gorgeous! you'll have to try on different bras with it until you find one that is comfortable and gives you the look you want. but I LOVE that dress, it's beautiful and you definately need to wear funky pink shoes, it will excentuate the dress, not take away from it!

I think you'll probably need to just try on different bras and shapers under it to figure out what works best.

However, I think pink shoes underneath would be awesome!  Even if you are having a completely traditional type wedding, colored shoes are just fun.  And....they are private to you most of the time.  I say wear bold colored shoes (I know I'm thinking about doing it).

And, you look amazing in that dress!

Thank you all so much! I'll be definitely trying a few strapless bras hoping that it doesnt show at the back since the dress cuts lower in the back..
And maybe some Spanx high waist knee length..they have some that attach to the bra so they don't roll over..hoping it doesnt pull the bra down with it!

The dress is a Maggie Sottero style Destiny.

I'm so doing pink shoes - need to add some color to my wedding attire since I am Indian bride!

lots of brides are choosing colored shoes now, to add some color and pizzazz to the day.  I love that idea.  I have some color in my veil and on my shoes.  I think you should go for the pink ones!!

I love the dress!  It looks fabulous on you!  I say wear the fun shoes!  You can even wear a pair of matching panties

As for your cleavage, have your seamstress put in cups.  They will give your girls a boost, and you won't have to worry about an extra lingerie piece.

Ask about getting padded cups sewn in, I did and it was the best decision I made! Also, I think pink shoes would be great- a nice surprise!

I'll second (third?) the votes for padded cups. They look great, are supportive, comfy, and very low maintenance.

I also love the dress and think pink shoes would be awesome with it.

Ok so I checked with the seamstress - she can put the pads in but I have to get them myself! Are there lots of options?  or just one or two basic ones that might work? Thank you all for your help!

Christina - the lady at the same bridal store suggested that veil since it had similar beading to the dress..
