What type of petticoat?

My dress is a tulle dress, and definitely needs a boost to give it the ball gown look I want. I've read numerous guides on how to pick a petticoats, but I'm still unsure. My dress has a train also, so it seems like it need the train petticoats...but does that still give it a ball gown look?

My dress has a train but i did not get a petticoat for my train.  I simply tried on a number of them until i got the right amount of "poof" :)

I definitely understand pouf, the skirt on my dress is so heavy that I need two petticoats to get it to fluff out enough! I've found that the DB ball gown petticaot works very nicely for pouf. Or if that's too much, the A-line gives less pouf, but the skirt will still fluff out some. You can find the petticoats on ebay for about half of what DB charges, also any used wedding gown site, such as recycledbride.com, preownedweddingdresses.com etc.

    Hope this helps!
