What Jewelry should I wear?

So I'm kind of going back and forth about what I want to do about jewelry, so I figured I would bring it to you ladies for some opinions..

When I was originally trying on dresses I had large earrings in just because that's what I wore that day, never planning on wearing them with my dress. This is a picture from that day:

I went back for my last fitting yesterday and brought the necklace/earring set that I was planning to use, but something just bothered me about the necklace and I can't figure it out. I only have until tomorrow to return the jewelry set so I'm in need of some quick advice!  I originally liked the idea of a necklace because it looks like a lot of open space, maybe I'm just doing the wrong type of necklace? Here's the dress yesterday with the necklace:

Can you tighten the necklace by a few links?  I think it would look better if you had a little more space between the bottom of the necklace and the top of the dress.

ETA: I think you look gorgeous as is, but that might be what you feel is 'off' about the necklace.

I would suggest a simple earring and maybe a 3 strand necklace of pearls. Not choker style but up high. You look gorgeous!

I agree with a three strand pearl necklace.

The pearls would be a nice touch. I think irt depends on your style. I have a tendecy to lean towards lond necklaces because I feel as if it elongates me, so my plan is to create a long necklace using some of my grandmothers vintage jewelry, because that's my style....so what's yours?

Thanks everyone. I was also thinking a 2 or 3 strand necklace, but  I was hesitant to do pearls because the dress is beaded in crystals and silver thread, I don't know if that makes a difference? I have an image in my head of a multi-strand necklace with crystals mixed in..but can't find anything like that that is dedlicate enough.  After looking online at different options I think I might just buy a bunch of stuff and take it to my next fitting and decide then because its so hard to put it together in your head!
