Need Fascinator Ideas

Help ladies!

I have a lovely birdcage veil and am in need of a fascinator...

Here is the gown:

Here is the hair style I'm going to have...including the red:

The veil is on a comb and I can place it to where it falls at the chin or shorter... Should I go with feathers? Flowers? Shiny stuff?

I'm at a loss.

I would do a pretty flower with some rhinestone accents.

</div>[QUOTE]I vote ostrich feathers, those are the fluffy ones. Your dress doesn't have anything shiny or flowery, and I think feathers are closest to the texture of lace. I made my fascinator for about $10 and 30 minutes worth of work. The drive to and from the store took longer than putting it together. I bought the cheapest, most comfortable clip I could, a big jeweled button, and some feathers, sewed it all together and ta-da. You could probably get a big button that matches your belt and do the same thing.

I made my hairpiece as well, but with ivory flower pieces I found at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. It was ridiculously easy.

    Thanks y'all!

I'm going to hit Hobby Lobby today...I love Hobby Lobby. Love it.

Ostrich feathers...interesting. I'll play with that.  Or maybe those gorgeous blonde peacock feathers!
