Would you say it would be tacky to paint my nails one of the wedding colors. Dark Purple or dark blue. I have fake nails, still short but not as nubby lol, nail bitting is the hardest habbit to break, and i just sometimes hate how much more fake they look with the white tips.
The BM are wearing lapis(dark purple) dresses and the men are wearing dark blue vests. my flowers are purple and white. I'm thinking a dark purple with some glitter lol

I think it would look fantastic if your nails were one of your colors - mine will be.  I also dislike the look of fake French manicures, especially on toes.  They kind of make me shudder when I se it on feet.

A deep blue or purple nail would look great IMO.

I think that purple is an awesome nail color.  I'm probably going to do my toes a dark fuschia (I'm wearing teal peep-toed shoes), and paint my nails a lighter shade of pink or purple (no french manicure).

I personally like brides to have neutral colored fingernails because in pictures your nails will really standout against your dress.  In fact photographers prefer neutral nails over colored nails for this reason.

For me, I painted my nails purple (one of my wedding colors) but kept my fingernails a very pale pink.

I wore dark purple nail polish for my wedding.  My mom thought it was black - ha.  I loooooooooved it.

Joy2611 - too funny! your nails looked great! I wish i could have stopped bitting mine so that i could have gone natural and not had acrylic

Do it!!! I love anything that goes against "tradition"!  I think coloured nails look fabulous!
