Any thoughts? My fiance and I are doing a First Look, but I still don't want him to see me in my dress (plus we're doing a pre-ceremony cocktail hour beforehand and I don't want my guests to see me either.) My current wedding gown is super quick to get in and out of, so timing is not an issue. Any thoughts on what might make a cute First Look dress?

Really hard. But I wanna do that because I want you
- all of you, you and me, every day. Forever."

Re: First Look/Pre-Ceremony Cocktail Hour dress?
I personally wouldn't and spent enough on the first dress, I wouldn't dream of buying another.
I don't think it will 'take away' from anything if people see you in your (one) dress before the ceremony.
[QUOTE]Isn't the point of the "first look" for him to see you in your wedding dress for the first time? It's not really a first look if all he's doing is seeing you in a dress with your hair and make-up done. I don't really get it.

<div>I thought this as well...... the first look pictures are to capture the moment intimately of your FI seeing you for the first time in your dress. </div>

Totally agree. First Look means that it's his first look at you in your wedding dress done before your wedding ceremony and you can take photos of his surprise in that sweet moment. So since he's not seeing you in the dress until the ceremony, I don't think that it's possible for you to be doing a first look. Regardless, I get that you are going to be spending time together at the cocktail party, etc, before the ceremony and you need something to wear. If I were you I'd still wear white. Maybe a white sundress if it's in the warmer season?
