Snarky Brides

I think it's a girl!

No. It is not what you think!! LOL!!

If any of you have sons or brothers, you know that they go through a period where they act like gremlins. They hate WATER!! My son would go in the bathroom, run the shower water and stand outside of the tub! Ewwww!! Well for the past few weeks, he has been taking a lot more time in the bathroom, brushing his hair, and he bought some girl a flower.

OMG my baby is growing up!!!

And the whole time, my future husband was in the room...... image image

  • AATB, check out the School Daze thread. What teacher do you know who can post on 20 different threads during the school day? And other teachers are calling her out too. They are the best judges.

  • I hear you allisong - definitely.  But a lot of us knot at work, and I think we can all admit to it interfering with our productivity now and again.

I completely agree with this regarding the teacher thing. But I do also see B's point because she just said she was taking a TK break and then she starts a thread like this. I'm all for threads like these, but why would you do it right after declaring that you were taking a break? It's just a little dramatic or rash or both. But overall, I like MC, so I'm glad she decided not to take a TK break.

You really suck at making your point in a succinct manner, don't you.  Your exact words were "I respect each and everyone of you for feeling the way that you do, and am going to step back from TK." which carry the implication that you intend to step back, not just at school.

As for "YOUR thread," that's just fucking laughable.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. I have to agree. Granted I am never here during the day but I couldnt care less how much someone posts. If I dont want to read their posts, I dont open them or I skim past what theyve said in a thread. I think tons of people are idiots, but I dont need to tell them that I feel that way on a constant basis.

<div>Let it go. To be fair to those who were judging you, it wasn't the first time that they had aired their views, it has come up in the past. I guess they felt as though you hadn't heard them the first time and they wanted to make sure that you clearly understood their feelings. Unfortunately, as a teacher, and therefore a government employee for all intensive purposes, you have to be willing to accept the scrutiny of those around you. Just accept that your decision to be on TK whilst actually teaching is not appropriate and change your behaviour. Those who will get over it will get over it, others won't. Nothing you can do.</div>
