Agreed. I don't care about parties so much as having more "pre-wedding" time with people, you know?

[QUOTE]Sun - have you seen the HBO show Big Love? Well, if not, it is awesome. But if this still makes no sense it refers to polygamous (mormon) relationships in which you are married to each other but don't have sex (because you are all having sex with your mutual husband) and basically live on top of each other and help each other out and stuff. Admittedly, I am sure I am over glamorizing it.

  • What does everyone else consider pot roast anyways?

My pot roast dinner is when I throw a big roast into a slow cooker with carrots, onions, garlic and potatos and simmer all day until the meat falls apart. My sil just bakes a roast so it looks like meatloaf but is a hunk of beef. I was very surprised/sad when I went to her house for pot roast and it was so different.

Knottie you want to be sister wives with: Hm. I guess I don't know enough.  I'm a pretty big fan of Jasmine.
Biggest PIA wedding thing you dealt with: So far I'm getting really pissy with the guest list restrictions. There's only enough seating for 150 people.  Cutting is not easy.
Bonus points for tap dancing/something funny/something cute here:
I consistently mistake the "f" for the "d" whenever typing the word "duck," and similarly always insert an "e" inappropriately in the word "bowl." It's not intentional. It leads to online conversations going awry.

  • I do your version, Katie. Though I rarely bother because DH doesn't eat much beef and I can't eat all that myself!

  • Molly, you two are adorable.

I'm curious, what kind of a name is Kamrel?
  • Our pot roast is: bottom round (aka shoulder of the cow) in the crock pot with about a cup of red wine and beef broth.  Add shallots.  Voila.  Left over sauce that doesn't become gravy is soup base for the winter.

Thank you. I have noticed our names aare very similar as well. My parents were very close to spelling mine the way you do, then kind of randomly just added another n :). Margaret is a common family name, thats why they picked Megan.. I was also born in the Megan obsessed 80s. My mom wanted a unique Megan so they settled on Meaghan after seeing it on tv a few nights before I was born, then added the n, and voila Meaghann!
