H took the day off so we've been hanging out, lounging around. It's been fantastic, we hardly ever get these days.

Right now we're watching Lara Croft on TV, waiting for 9 pm to watch True Blood and pig out on ice cream.

We just got back from the pool and are debating having cocktails. I ran my first 10k yesterday and my legs and knees are killing me. I feel like rum might help this problem.

I need MadMen. I was watching the Shining onAMC earlier (yes, I have not moved my ass off the couch all day... it is actually glorious being bored and lazy for once) and there was this countdown to MadMen constantly in the upper corner. It said 6 hours and counting and I have been dying ever since. It was pure torture.

Hi everyone!

I'm just staring at the storm destruction to my poor yard and trying to find someone to get rid of the poison ivy tree for me. Most tree removals just put it in a shredder, which would not be a good plan for this guy.

I LOVE the shining. I cant help but watch it whenever I find it on tv.

I spent most of the day outside. My tanning has been pretty one sided so I decided to work on my back for a bit. I laid in the sun for an HOUR and it doesnt even look like I accomplished anything.

It was finally absolutely gorgeous today, its been muggy and humid and hot for as long as I can mentally remember, but it finally broke after a big rain we got yesterday and its wonderful out!

The Shining is one of my favorite horror movies ever. Someday, I want to go stay at the Stanley hotel.

I've never seen Mad Men or True Blood. I think I'm missing out.

H and I just got back from my very first camping trip ever. The dogs had a blast, and I got to try out my new camera. I took 700 pictures.

I'm watching Where the Heart Is (trust me, I'm ashamed but it's the only thing I could find on TV and God forbid I read a book or clean the house or something).

We just got back from geting dessert. Bread pudding (crossing my fingers its amazing because it looks good) and red velvet cake as back up. I have champagne I'e been saving and want to dring it tonight. I didn't know what it'd be good with though. I'm having leftover popcorn shrimp though which I imagine isn't the best combo but so be it.
