My nightmare already began with a bratty disrespectful 17 year old who is about to get her car taken away from her and will be riding the bus to school from now on. My FI had an issue with his 14 year old daughter this morning. UGHHHH! Teenagers! I'm actually looking forward to work after the morning we've had here.

Yikes... Sounds like the day either hasn't started off well or is going to be super stressful. Hopefully 5:00 PM comes soon enough for all of us!

I flame people who make everything all about them.

I flame one of FI's groomsmen and BM. All the GM had to do was get measured at Al's. Couldn't be bothered and went to a random place. Come to find out...he sent ANOTHER GM to pick up his tux. He hasn't even tried it on...and I'm paying for it. WTF?

The BM is pulling the "I don't get paid until tomorrow(which is actually today". I don't care,he's known his pick up day and his balance for over a month. SERIOUSLY?

I flame waiting... waiting to hear back on our offer, waiting to hear if I got the job, drives me nuts!

Finally, I flame people that write on each other's FB walls about how much they love each other. Case in point: this couple is married, lives together, sees each other EVERY DAY, and yet you feel the need to write it on FB? Seems like you're trying a little hard. Also flame friends of this couple who "like" aforementioned wall posts. Gag. Associated flame: girls who announce they are pregnant on FB and then feel the need to make EVERY SINGLE STATUS for the next month somehow associated with their pregnancy. Example: "It's such a gorgeous day outside... so happy I'm pregnant!" *headdesk*

I flame the fact that I spent an hour last night when I got home trying on a dress with different undergarments to see what was necessary.  A very non flame is the fact that it's a size smaller than what I normally wear.  Still, I could have been sleeping if I hadn't waited until the last minute.

Ummm no flame here. No work today, going to see Titanic at noon, and lots of errands the rest of the day.
Then going to a wrap party with FI at the film festival.

I'll start of by flaming work--I haven't been able to get on here much at all, and I miss you ladies! We just had a huge software release and it is just kicking our asses.

Kathleen, I can't believe your wedding is here! I hope that everything goes off perfectly for you, you'll be a beautiful bride--can't wait to see pictures!!

Flame #2--I am going to Chicago tonight for my sister's bachelorette weekend and I forgot her gift at home. Guess I know what I'll be doing over my lunch break now since traffic at 6 won't allow me to go from Frisco to Dallas and then to DFW without cutting it too close to risk not making my flight. What sucks is that I thought about it all morning while I was finishing my packing and I still forgot it. J started laughing at me in the car when I realized it and I wasn't too nice to him the rest of the ride to work. Punk.

Well, the inevitable flame I knew I'd have today:

Called FI's disability insurance and sure enough, they still have not received the documentation they need to prolong his leave past tomorrow.  If they don't get it today, FI will be on unpaid leave with no job protection.

And now, I'm that woman you do NOT want to mess with!!!  I HATE leaving pushy voice messages and I hate writing firm e-mail but seriously?!  This is RIDICULOUS.  We were promised this would all be taken care of before we even chose this group.  And now, here we are the last business day before, and nothing has been done.  It's kind of a big deal, you know either having to pull him from the program this weekend OR having him lose his pay/job/health insurance so we can't get him any more treatment.  Figure it out, people.  I don't care how it has to be done, but it WILL be done today, come hell or high water.
