• That annoys me even more then, Lbarr. There's no way someone gets a husky without understanding that they are master escape artists. It's kind of what they're known for. ;)  Both of our pups are husky-mixes and we've had to reinforce the entire fence because they've dug out under it.
Yeah, we have Once Upon a Child or something like that here. This is going to sound terrible, but I freaking hate walking into that place. It's full of screaming wild ass children. Michael and I went in there a few weeks ago and we left after I wanted to spank the parents of some wild child...twice. We were looking at the aisle of bigger stuff and this little bastard jumped out from behind a stroller and scared the shiiit out of me. Then I was checking out some of the clothes stuff and I felt something on my foot...it was a little girl probably about 4 years old, laying on the floor chewing on my shoestring. Her mom wasn't even phased by it, didn't seem to care that her child was chewing on a filthy shoestring, or that my shoestring was now covered in slobber.  So another cool story, but not about dogs. I just got a friend request from a dude I haven't seen since HS. Of course I had to be nosy and check him out. His ish is all public, so I started reading through it. His about me talks about how he's fighting for freedom, which I initially took to mean that he was in the military...WRONG he's in prison...for agg burglary and agg murder! It also says that he's aryan, and would like to see people learn to stick to their own race. OH he also lists his inmate number and address to the prison because he likes pen pals and for girls to send him pics of their titties. Sheeewweee I know some classy people.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He has some pictures of his family and kids visiting him in prison, and it's ridiculous because they have all these really stupid backdrops that they're standing in front of. Like beach scenes and garden scenes, but the pictures are back far enough that you can see the outline of the scenes.

  • Good morning ladies. I came in early to knock some work out. It is a busy end of the month. We have a busy day tomorrow. We have welcome home BBQ for my cousin and then FI and I are going to studio screening of a new movie.
  • ha. Our one dog (the black one) never gets confused for a husky. But Levi (the tan one) gets really really light colored in the winter and has pale blue eyes.  He's kind of creepy looking somtimes, so people are always really hesitent of him.

The big fluffy white purebred huskies totally look like wolves!

I have another one of me sitting that I think is kinda BA too: And I've mentioned my new tattoo a couple times, but I'll tell ya again: it's going to be on my right bicep. A pink frosted cupcake with a teal wrapper above two crossed switchblades (sort of a take on the skull & crossbones) with "Cupcakes Taste Like Violence" in cursive below it, and stars/confetti sprinkled all around it. Very girly, but also kinda tough.

  • Gorss, dmills. That guy...just, gross. And WTF, what kind of parent just lets her kid chew on shoelaces? That image makes me laugh, in a "I'm completely horrified" kind of way.

I want a tattoo. I think I might actually be able to get one in July since I decided to cancel an expensive book event. I'm just still indecisive about it.

Mehg, when are you getting the Belle one? I thought that was going to be your next tat, for some reason.
  • Morning! Megh i love the idea for your tattoo! Pink and teal are awesome together. They were my wedding colors : I got an email from my future boss that my references checked out, and now he just needs the final approval from HR to hire me. So hopeully in the next week or so that will happen. I feel like i have been waiting forever to start! We are going to Kings Dominion this weekend for Deaf day on Saturday, then staying overnight to go back to to go to the water park there on Sunday. I'm excited, I freaking love amusement parks and I haven't been to a water park in about 10 years.

  • I think prison inmates get to do LOTS of things we wouldn't think they should be allowed to do.  They get outside time, gym time, they can watch television, they can get college degrees.  I've heard that some inmates have blogs and stuff.  Prison really doesn't sound all that bad, except for all that crap you have to do to get there, lol.  Probably depends on the prison and where it is, too.  I bet in really liberal states prisons are friggen sweet.

I'm getting that one done hopefully on the 16th. I want to see how well she handles the simpler tattoo first before I have her do something complicated like a picture. I've seen her stuff in the past, but I still prefer to start simple and then progress from there. I'll bring along my sample pics to my appointment tomorrow so she can start drawing it up for the next time I go in.

I wouldn't go as far to say they are sweet, but I did have some homeless clients who admitted that jail is better than sleeping on the street.
Good morning guys. I woke up with a headache from stress I think so my day off is starting off pretty sucky. I need you guys to talk me off a ledge here and tell me if I'm just being sensitive or if you would be pissed too. Dd graduates today. The school let's each family have ten tickets only. So back in Feb I emailed the whole family asking who wanted to come so I could try and beg borrow or steal extra tickets from kids who didn't need them. My sister says she needs six for her family. I couldn't get any extras so we agree her kids will stay home and she and BIL will come. They live 1.5 hours away. Fast forward to last night I call to let her know that parking was going to be tight and ask if she wants to meet at my house and carpool and if so I'm leaving at 5:00pm as ceremony starts at 6:00pm. It's a long walk from parking to where ceremony site actually is. She says oh we are gonna try and be on the road by 4:30pm. Dude it's a 1.5 hour drive without traffic and it's a Friday night during rush hour wtf makes you think you will make it if you leave that late I'm thinking. So I tell her very nicely that the likelihood they will make it is slim if they leave that late and ask if they might be able to leave a little earlier. She says no because her h is working until then. He's self employed. So she's coming but he's not is her solution because "oh I guess we didn't really think about this enough". So someone else could have used the ticket and you didn't think enough about your niece's graduation to plan properly? Nice. This is the same sister who a week ago couldn't remember what she was supposed to wear in the wedding. I feel like she has made it really clear how little they care about us. Yet my kid road a bus for 18 hours for her senior disney trip and then immediately got in the car for another long assssssss drive so we didn't miss her (my sister's) kiid's effing birthday party just two weeks ago. So would you be pissed too or am I being a douche? I know cool story bro. Here's my dog story. My dog barred on XH foot last night. It was awesome.
    Posted by Dot Dash
I'd be pretty irritated that they didn't plan ahead.  If he wasn't able to leave work I could understand her point a bit more, but with him being self employed, you would think they would have made time for it.  I'm sorry!

  • Good morning. I have a sad doggy story. My kid has a friend that lives with her grandparents because her parents are assholes. Her dad is "taking care" of their dog. My kid tells me last night that we should pick up the dog because her dad beat the dog. He broke three ribs, swollen eye, broken leg, and a few other things I don't remember. I cant take the dog but I did want to call the police on him. I don't know where he lives so it wont help. Other than being pissed about that I want a cupcake. I'm a cupcake snob ever since the cake tastings for the wedding. I want some fancy icing. Nobody around here sells anything good that isn't at least a 30 minute drive.

  • That sucks, doy, but I will say this. My H is self-employed but that doesn't mean he can just up and leave whenever he wants. Even when we have plans, things come up because his customers demand attention, a storm blows through, or any other number of things happens and he has to work. Leaving whenever he feels like it could easily result in the loss of a major customer. So on that note, I can't fault her H.

YIO, that's awful. Even worse that nothing can be done.
  • DH told me this morning that he had to evict a snake from our house when he woke up. WHY? Why did you have to tell me that? Now I'm going to feel skeeved out all day.

    I really hate this house.
