I agree that Kid Rock is not a good hair example, but that's what mine looks like too. I think I'll just play with color and see how long I can get it so we can play with some shapes as well.

My friend used them in her wedding and had her hair in an up-do.  You couldn't tell it wasn't her hair.  Yours is much shorter, but they can really do wonders with those things now. 

One thing that was sucky: she had to find and buy them without her stylist.  She originally got the wrong kind and you can't return them, so it cost her double what she intended on spending.  If your place doesn't get them for you or have them in the salon, that is something to think about.
