I have one friend- I like him, so I tolerate this- he constantly quotes Tupac and Lil Wayne lyrics in his status updates.  He's a midwestern white boy, and I grew up in Oakland.  I've tried to explain to him on numerous times that he'd never cut it in Oakland, he'd puss out, and that lifestyle comes off as a lot more glamorous in the songs than it is to live.  He's hopeless though, he just feels the music "speaks to him".  :P
