I just found out that we won our dispute with the caterer who took my 2500.00. It has been refunded in full. HUGE relief!

My Dad was awesome enough to write me a check for that amount after it happened so now he won't be out anything. He was worried I wouldn't get to have the wedding we were planning for because of it. We are lucky it all worked out this way.

Girlie- we have more Dvd's then blockbuster and I'm not the kind to watch movie over and over unless they happen to be on tv. My H on the other hand......

We filed a complaint with the BBB and that is. This was a CC dispute. They have completely shut down now and have several pending lawsuits. I almost paid via check so I am definitely one of the lucky ones. There is one girl from my local board who had to find a new venue and caterer just weeks before the wedding.

KD, I actually love that gnome door and I'm not really into that stuff. 

I need to do something, either sleep or something concrete. I just keep checking and double checking my suitcases. I need a huge master checklist for packing.

Kd, your H & I would get along swimmingly.  We probably have close to 500 dvd's and I have no problem watching the same movie over and over. 

Brandi, I'm glad they've shut down and won't be able to screw over any more people.  Just think, 13 days from now you'll be all done with this and grinning from ear to ear as you kiss your husband good morning. 

Well Diego did have 2 small accidents but H handled them before I got home.  I just wish he hadn't used our white towels to absorb the carpet cleaner.

The morning after is pretty awesome.  Probably some of my favorite memories actually.

I had so much fun right after the wedding. It was awesome just relaxing and remembering everything.

Probably my other favorite moment was watching the video and reminiscing.  Planning is fun, but seeing it all come together and having everyone tell you how amazing it was kicks ass. You're going to hav a great time, Brandi.

Hi!  We had fajitas for dinner.  I'm watching The Bachelorette.

I like the gnome door KD.

I loved my wedding night.  The venue had put cupcakes and a bottle of wine and two glasses in our room (we stayed at the same inn we got married at), H helped me take all the pins out of my hair, we - you know, and laid in bed recapping the day/evening.  I think I got about an hour of sleep.

We are going to hang out with the IL's the next day. We will have the night and morning plus early afternoon by ourselves and then we need to pick up Sadie. We will open cards and presents and then probably stay the night there. I think we will have a good time.

Ha Duds!  As meh as I was/am about my dress, I will say the ease of it was a major bonus - very lightweight, easy to get in/out of.  Those freakin bobby pins in my hair were another story though...

MIL hosted a get together the following afternoon/evening.  It was mostly my parents and out of town friends so we'd get to see a little more of them after they took the time and $$ to come for our wedding.  In between we opened our cards and gifts and started packing for the HM.

We didn't have sex on our wedding night.  We were exhausted and didn't get back till so late.  We ripped into our cards and then sexed it up on our minimoon .  I couldn't wait to get out of my dress, though. It was a lot of skirt!

We skipped the champagne and strawberries in our room the night of because we knew we were done for if we did and we had other plans. 

We did save the champagne though and had it on our 1 month anniversary with Hamburger Helper.  Oh yeah, we're classy.

My dress was easy for me to get in and out of myself, which was great.  It was like 90 degrees though, so it was hot even without being that big of a dress.

Girlie, we got a bunch of free champagne when we went to the Poconos, since we were newlyweds. We drink that shiiit with pizza, wings, hamburgers, whatever. We are klassy.

IIRC, we drank a mini bottle one night before going to my mom's house so she wouldn't drive us crazy.
