Morning! Things are busy this morning, which is good. Today I start my 4x10 schedule so I'm hoping days start to go by a little faster.

I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday got a lot of my lesson plan done and bought my parking permit, and Sunday got this:

I love it. Also, the guy who did my tattoo, his kid is the Success Kid meme (he is like 6 or so now). He did the pose for me and everything (he's used to it, they were invited to the MIT meme convention and everything, ha). Really cute kid who is obsessed with zombies. He was walking around the tattoo shop with this torn-up jacket pretending to be a zombie and talking H's ear off in the lobby about Plants Vs. Zombies. By the time I was done, H was pretending to shoot him and the kid, Sammy, was pretending to rise up from the dead to attack him.

Morning, I love your tattoo! I had my bachelorette party on Saturday do most of my day yesterday was spent in my pajamas on the couch. I only have two work days this week before I am off to finish up wedding stuff. I have some stuff I need to buy but I want to wait until we are there do we don't have as much to pack up. I'm at a bit of a stand still with everything.

Morning.  I'm back at work for the first time since LAST Monday and I have zero new e-mails.  I think something must be wrong with our e-mail server.  There's no way that happened.

My sleep was crap because the dog was mega hogging my side of the bed, he doesnt normally sleep with us but seemed to want to lastnight so we just let him and it was a mistake. This week is going to feel SO long cause im impatiently awaiting saturday - Edgefest concert in Toronto, which i bought the tickets for before christmas. Im so effing excited I cant even stand it, I already have what im wearing set aside on my dresser just so im ready lol The headliner that played 3 years ago the last time we went is there again this year and I am HELL BENT on not drinking so much beer that I pass out before they go on stage. Thats my goal for this year. Once that is done, its only 3 weeks until Osheaga, and im even more excited for that.

I had to google Success Kid meme but I definitely recognize it. Is Wednesday your first class? Or am I wrong about the day?

I had a really smooth trip back from CT yesterday and then was nearly in an accident on my way home from the grocery store. A woman ran through a stop sign across a busy street with no stop signs. The guy driving next to me plowed directly into her. If she had come out a split second later I would have hit her. 

Luckily everyone was basically ok. The passenger in one car looked pretty banged up but everyone was mobile. I stuck around to give a statement to the cops, I wanted to make sure they knew the guy who hit her wasn't at fault. There was no way he could have avoided the accident.

Pirate, our email sucks. It will say you have none then you'll get like 15 in a row from hours or days ago. We use IM for immediate needs.

Morning ladies!  We returned on Saturday from our AH-MAZING honeymoon. It was an awesome week and I'm really bummed to be back to the real world today. I don't work until 11:30, so I'm headed to the SS office this morning to change my name!

Morning. I go back to work today but Ben has the day off so I'm hoping he takes Lucy to the vet. The lake was fun but Ben said the night before we left that he felt like his sister and fbil were making him feel like we were "over staying our welcome," which is crap because it's his folks place. His sis has been living there since she filed to divorce a couple years ago and her fi is living there too. I dunno though. I am hoping he was feeling paranoid for no reason lol because it looks like they may live there a while.

Morning. That abdominal/pelvic CT scan I had Friday was downright awful. Like, somethings they do they should warn you so you can mentally prepare. Then again, if I knew, I wouldn't have gone. Icing on the cake was when the tech came out and asked if I had a history of ovarian cysts. Umm, no? Then proceeded to leave and not say anything else. Now all I can think about is that a ton of issues I have are from those and its been too long without treating them and I'm never going to be able to have kids and FI shouldn't marry me because he wants them. This is irrational but dammmmit, why did she have to ask that?

Chels, you better get there when they open!  I waited for three hours when I went to the SS office.  And bonus!  I got to see the security guard escort an elderly gentleman out for getting hostile over not being allowed to keep him cell phone ringer on.

Morning all.  I had a pretty good weekend.  I got to see several family members that I haven't seen since I was a kid at my uncle's funeral.  Sucks because of the circumstances but it was nice to see them.  Saturday H and I scrubbed our deck and next weekend we will pressure wash it and then stain it.  I think it's going to look awesome when it's done!  I'd really like to have it finished for when H's parents come up for his birthday.  Speaking of which, FIL no longer has the illness that H can't be around, so after six months they can see each other again.  I suppose we'll be celebrating that and his birthday lol

Also, Sesh, love the tat. Celtic, I'm glad everyone was pretty much ok. Oh joy, I think the display on my computer officially just went. I knew it was a matter of time but yeesh. I don't have the money to fix it or get a new one.

Chels, they seem to get a kick out of it. Apparently his wife posted the original pic on Flickr and some random person made the first image and it just took off from there. He said they got to meet a lot of people at the meme convention, like that Antoine Dodson (sp?) guy and the double rainbow guy. And that people were asking his kid, who was like 5 at the time, for his autograph.

lbarr, that sounds awful. When do you get the results?

Darn! One of our friends is running a new taco truck for his restaurant and they're not coming near my work in the foreseeable future. The menu looks awesome and I had really looked forward to trying it.

Had a great weekend, complete with rain and cooler temps.  It's only going to be 73* today, with more showers.  So nice after that stretch of 100s.  I think they're going to lift the ban on charcoal grilling soon.

Boo I really slept terribly last night. I couldn't get into a comfortable position so I ended up turning on the radio and counting the beats out on the songs until I fell asleep. 20 minutes later my H wakes me up cuz he was just getting home from work. Took another hour before I fell asleep, so frustrating.

Glad to hear the HM went well, Chels. Have you AW'd your pro pics yet?

And I'm sorry to hear that news Lbarr! Try not to worry about it too much until they give you a better diagnosis?

busy day for me. I just want to go home to bed again.

Lbarr, I had surgery to remove fibroids and was pregnant 10 weeks later. Don't panic - it will be okay.  I have a great OB/GYN that practices out of Newton Wellesley Hospital if you want a second opinion.

We are back in OH for FOUR DAYS, which is like a new record for us. Had a wedding this weekend which was fun. I went into it with the mindset "I didn't even get tipsy at my own wedding, so I'm gonna get DRUNK at this one". It worked. Yesterday registered  a 6.8 on the hangover scale.

Lots of really random stuff to do today.

Me too! but I went the Wednesday before Thanksgiving... and it was nasty weather outside.  still worth it :)

Morning ladies. I slept like crap last night and was basically up from 1:30-4, so that was fun. I've already got Starbucks in me and I'm still half-asleep. It's going to be a long day.

Pirate- our email does that sometimes on Monday mornings.  Around 9:30-10, it'll finally catch up.

Smash I know this isn't the same situation at all, but I was pretty amused when my ex-bf's gf(?) had their baby on my birthday. He was a jerk but at least now the kid has a chance of being cool. 

I know I've said this before but I have major respect for how you have handled the whole situation.
