i'm off trying to start a purchase dispute on Paypal.  I received a package today and I'm so sad.  It was a beautiful Christmas sleigh and horse figurine and it arrived shattered due to improper packaging on the seller's end.  I contacted the seller and was told "sucks to be you".  So yeah.  Pissed.

And I'm editing my book on little breaks. I need to get this biiitch done so I can get back to my other works.

I just got home and I'm taking a little break before working out and getting ready for H's birthday  celebration. I also am trying not to buy a bunch of shiiit I don't need.

Bax is so ridiculous. He ran like a beast when I got home and now he's crashed on the couch.

I'm frustrated with new job.....  

They hired in two of us to be the first two Project Managers at this company - great for me I get to pretty much create our new job process.

But we can't get the company owner to let us talk details so that we can introduce the new roll to everyone - stinks because no one is keeping me in the loop on projects.

I'm leaving at 4:30.  I get in early enough and don't take very long lunches so I feel I'm entitled to it.  Oh, and I got everything I needed to get done today, done.  It's thunderstorming but it looks to be clearing instead of last time where I got stuck in nasty city sewer water rivers walking out of work.  

FI called and said he mailed our invitations.  The lady at the post office asked if we had them weighed.  We did awhile back and that's why we purchased the 65 cent stamp.  She had him wait and reweighed one of them while crossing her fingers and making unpleasant faces and then finished with a huge sigh of relief.  Way to give my FI a damnn heart attack.  If I had to redo the envelopes I would've throat punched the world.

I just finished lunch and am about to tackle a monster expense report.  I hate when they do actuals. 

Is anyone around here familiar with the Nashville area?  I need a recommendation for a day spa.

H mailed ours at the PO by his job and they cost X amount (I forget). Then I had a couple more to mail afterward and our home PO charged us less. We would have saved something like $50 on them. I fuuucking hate the PO.

I am here. I am looking at rent the runway since they gave me a free rental for this weekend, so I am thinking of scrapping our weekend plans and having a nice date out together instead.

Also, there is no $ limit on the dress I can rent, so obviously I want to try to get as expensive a dress as I possibly can.

Anna- I hope you win your dispute. That is bullshit.

Edie:  Yep.  Etsy.  It wasn't handmade, just vintage.  I'm just so sad about it because it was perfect and lovely and a piece of history but now it's destroyed because someone was too lazy to shove some extra packing peanuts in the box.  This is exactly how it looked when I opened the box.  i removed nothing:

Oh my! They do this? I signed up for Rent the runway but could still never justify renting a $100 or more dress. That's a sweet deal-I would totally dress to the nines (for free!) and go out!

Sorry, I got distracted. We're going to dinner tonight--I don't know where yet, KD, because H keeps changing his mind lol--and then to Great Adventure on Saturday.  I'm giving him one small gift a night, though, because he's been going through a rough patch with work.

I will brag about him for a minute, though. He text me that there was a mistake made at work when we were in HI and the quality supervisor said that since N has been working there (4 years) there's never been one mistake made in orders.

I'm here on a break from cleaning.  My parents are coming to visit this weekend and to get the wedding gifts we've received so far out of the apartment and into storage.  We probably won't be opening anything (the actual boxes) until after I get out of Basic Training and we get to San Angelo (my tech school) because I don't want to have to repack anything.

I'm here.  I've had several little things just annoy me today and now I'm in a crabby mood.

I went to the school now that I finally got my SS card to change my name.  I double checked online where I needed to go and when I parked and went there, they have moved buildings.  I finally get to where I need to go and they tell me that I will need to see someone and make me sign in and sit down.  Literally 5 seconds later a guy comes out to talk to me (he watched me sign in, why didn't he just come get me?) and sits me down just to fill out a form.  He then tells me I need to go get a new ID made.  I go to where that is and have to hunt someone down to do it.  They then tell me it takes a couple of days for the change to take place and I need to come back.  I am wearing new wedges that aren't broken in and now I have a blister on the top of my middle toe on my left foot.  It hurts.


And I'm out of pre-hole punched paper and have to print out our board books today for next weeks meeting and it will be ~1000 pages or so. Guess I need to get my hole puncher out.  I'd go get some, but there is the whole blister/wedges thing I've got going on.

Lbarr--I don't think they're supposed to vary, but somehow they weighed the envelopes and charged us for more or for something my PO didn't charge us for. It sucked and it's not even as if the PO is a business you can complain to/about.

lbarr, I actually think the tiny ones are who you need to watch out for so if you're mad enough to punch the world, I suspect you could do some damage.
