My prom dress was pretty much a wedding dress.  I wore it 3 times, and got some nasty comments at my grad dinner/dance (I graduated a year early, so it was the "older" girls).  Biitch was jealous.

  • For my jr prom I re-used an fancy purple-red dress I'd gotten a time back for a talent show, did my own make-up and hair, and got a lift from my dad. My bestfriend was my "date" but then at the dance her crush showed up without a date... least to say I did the whole little "oh hey let's go see if he wants to dance" and then the "ow my ankle hurts, I'm going to go sit down." deal. I had no one to dance with but she was extremely happy... years later they are now engaged and getting married next year. Though our school had this after-prom school lock-in deal where they rented huge blowups, had tons of food, and henna, even a "wedding" chappelle. Jr prom, my crush showed up single to after-prom and that made the rest of my night amazing.
(I don't have any photo's on this computer)

Senior prom, I found my dress at a thrift store for 20$ (Designer dress!) and did my own hair and makeup again. This time my guy best friend asked my to go with him... we won a free dinner to the Elephant Bar and a nice table there bought us desert. We got lost trying to find the place prom was being held at cause they'd moved it to some where in downtown. So we missed prom but had a blast walking around downtown. And later we had even more fun at after-prom and got "married" with six of our other friends at the wedding chappelle. It's funny to look back at that picture because he's now my FI.

(best photo I have sorry Smile)
