Hehe...my mother is a therapist. So instead of her being crazy, everything we say/do gets analyzed. Gets pretty old pretty quickly, but hey, at least I know how relationships are "supposed" to work

I've been wondering if shoe polish comes off tires... we have new neighbors that were recently married (according to the shoe polished windows) and there is shoe polished dots all over their tires... Chris and I are thinking that it might not come off...

I often find myself watching the lame videos on TK TV. I can't help but judge them sometimes.

I was about to walk out the door to run errands... then I heard the rain. Boo :(

Invitations are in the mail! And after having pleaded with the lady at the post office to hand cancel and being rejected, I started tearing up. Now I'm not a crier at all so this took me by surprise, is this normal? I felt relief and overwhelmed at the same time. Maybe just going crazy... at least that is what the USPS person and my co-worker thought.

Maybe I'm just callous or something, but what is the draw for hand-canceling?  From what I've read, it still goes through the machines, etc.
  • edited December 2011
I didn't even know about hand canceling until I heard about it on here, but my invite (PIB) has cryatals and I didn't want the machine to smash them.

I get in a really crappy mood around this time of day every day. What's that about?

Cheryl, are you hungry?   I get cranky and I think it's because my blood sugar levels drop.  I just had some yogurt and that didn't satisfy me so I had a thing of sugar free jello too :)  Hopefully that will hold me over until I can get home and cook dinner.

I really need to start cleaning, but I don't want to...

Yes, I am hungry...even though I feel like I've eaten plenty today. Blah. I hate that this is the time of day I'm supposed to go to the gym as well...I don't feel like it :(

Ditto on the eyebrows... ugh. I saw a picture from this weekend and they are in serious need of help.  However, that is something I rarely splurge on... seriously, I only get them done like once a year. I need to change that!

I'm late on this and I don't care. This is not about any of you. I'm sick of people who think their way is the only way. Get a freakin clue. I'd love to buy organic and shop and whole foods and, hell let's throw achieve world peace in there for fun, but in the real world MONEY MATTERS and I DO NOT have my priorities out of wack because I care more about paying off bills than buying hormone-free milk. GET OVER YOURSELF. Talk to me when you're not living off mommy and daddy.

Oh my gosh Manda, that made me laugh!  I totally agree girl!  I think buying organic, yada yada is great, but don't judge people or think you are a better person because of it.

Ugh. It's so stupid but this girl is pissing me off. She's barely out of college and vegan. So not only does she look at my lunch like I killed her pet (she seriously does) but she also acts like shopping at Walmart or Kroger is a deadly sin. I hate walmart as much as the next guy, but until I'm making actual money, I'd rather not pay twice the price for everything just because it's "organic"

That is so annoying!  I bet it is hard to hold back giving her a piece of your mind!  I know people like that, and it makes me want to scream.

DH and I were in a grocery store once and a kid asked his mom if he could have something and her response was "No!  Honey, that has high fructose corn syrup, it will kill you!"  We almost burst out laughing.  It just seemed like overkill.

I totally agree with you Manda!  A certain someones mom mom told me that I needed to start washing her clothes in organic detergent from Whole Foods because Gain soap is toxic to her skin.  I told her when she wanted to start buying that organic detergent and sending it with her on the weekends, I'd start washing her clothes in it.  Needless to say, I've not seen any organic detergent! :)
