Nates, that place looks awesome!

Actually, it reminds me of a state park near me, but the one by me is on a much smaller scale.

http://www.starvedrockstatepark.org/   We love to go hiking out there, and we just got some awesome picnic stuff at our shower last weekend, and I'm pumped to go on picnics this summer.

Any--I have never been there either.

Also, you need to stop putting new pics in your siggy. Each one is better than the next and I find myself just getting more and more jealous of how pretty you guys are and how good your photogapher was.

Also, I've never been to Hawaii, and I don't forsee us ever really affording it.  We only afforded Ireland/England because we stayed at hostels, ate sandwiches, and took public transportation everywhere.  Totally worth it though.

We are going to Costa Rica for our honeymoon, which I'm pretty excited about. We are going to try to make it back to Europe and backpack Portugal/Spain/Greece/Italy on the cheap within the next couple of years.   Dream vacation would be New Zealand.

I'm nervous. We booked our HM a few weeks ago through Luxury Link..it took a couple of different tries with dates but it finally went through. We never got any sort of confirmation from the actual hotel.

FI emailed them a couple days ago to make sure they had our reservation. No response. Time to call tomorrow. I am nervous. I will be heartbroken if this got messed up.

Lindsey, if you don't mind sharing, where in central IL are you?  I was born in Decatur and most of my mom's family is still there. I am actually going there for mother's day with my mom to surprise my grandma.

Nates, the first trip H and I took together was to Boston and NH.  I had never been to Boston so I was all excited to plan things out with my "Let's Go Boston" book.  H was horrified that I wanted to plan our whole trip, he likes just exploring and seeing where the wind blows us.  He kept threatening to throw my book in the river.  Ha.

Oh cool! I'm not gonna lie, I'm glad we don't live in Decatur anymore.  It's definitely a factory town and it smells bad.  But, it will always have a special place in my heart.

Haha, yeah, I definitely noticed the weird corn factory smell (at least, that's what I think it is), but the lake looked pretty.

I would put a pic of my mom and I from the wedding up but I was kind of being a meanie brat to her. She kept trying to make things "special" and take pictures of me when the photog was as well so I snapped, and I'm pretty sure we only got 2 pictures together.  Then I felt bad. Then Sunday I was annoyed all over again and I had to get out of there. I owe my mom a really nice mother/daughter weekend in which I am not being a little turd.

There's all sorts of factories there, but yeah the big one is the old Staley corn processing factory.  My parents both used to work there, actually. That's how they met
