My day's been pretty fantastic--I subbed in 3rd grade today...I'm pretty sure I was a broken record.  I don't know how many times I said, "X, have a seat." "X, sit on your bottom." "X, sit in your chair." Now, I'm home for 30 minutes (enough time to scarf down some food, change, and check The Knot!) before heading back to my other job.  Hooray!

Confession: DH makes me a mix "tape" every few months. I love every single one of them! He even made one for our ceremony with the music he wanted a few months out from the wedding, and we used it. I walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of "Pictures of You" by The Cult, and we walked back up the aisle to some Sinatra. He's awesome. :)

Apparently elevators are really complicated.  We have people come in our office looking for the doctor (even though the doctor is the first door when you get off the elevator, and people have come in to ask how to get back to the first floor.  I was tempted to say that you have to take the stairs, that our elevators only go up, not down.

HA!  That happens here too, we are the very bottom floor, people get all confused, but they're usually very, very elderly (on the upper levels are some kind of service agencies) and I would be a horrible person if I said that to some 101 year old woman.

Sadie I get 3-4 idiots wandering in to my office like that every week. We're 1 suite in a massive building but we have our own door to the outside. Apparently the main entrance in the center of the building with the awning & entryway & flagpoles doesn't do it for some people. I get people wandering in all the time looking for other suites.
