Wait, so you are having a courthouse wedding and then inviting 200 people to the reception?
Posted by OutOfTheBlue612
200 people in her parents backyard.  Which her bio says is a BBQ and a Nattie Ice keg so i dont know why people have to send back meal choice cards.

EDIT: The meal is a 125 pound pig that will be roasting all day.

• And they aren't even allowed to witness the marriage ceremony (and she claims the marriage is most important) yet, they are expected to bring a gift from the included registry cards.
• Is pig beef?  Im confused.

• Blue, I've got it, tiered reception. The first 100 guests get a choice between chicken or beef. They'll have to balance the plats on their knees in the yard, but it's ok that doesn't matter. The second 100 guests get BBQ. Cause they don't serve beef or chicken. It's the other white meat for those bitches.
• Is Chicken of the Sea chicken? Or Tuna?
• Oh, you dumb, dumb broad.  It's called the Internet.  We spell it "hoar" here.  Granted, we're smart enough not to have a fucking tiered pig roast and to realize that no RSVPs means that people don't want to attend your backyard BBQ.
• And how do you make it so only the people who didnt RSVP dont get to eat?  Are you going to be handing out VIP bracelets or something?  Guest list at the Nattie Ice keg?

• Wow.  Look at all of those fonts.

• As someone who wanted to get married in the courthouse, this chick is coming off like a major douchebag.  "OMG you wan't a long white dress?!  YOU'RE CRAZY!  YOU WASTE MONEY!  ONLY THE MARRIAGE IS IMPORTANT!!!  LOOK AT MY DAMN SCRIPTY FONT!!!!!"

I sure hope she isn't as bitter about her small wedding as she is about her proposal lacking under-the-stars romance.

• OMG, not to sound like a total snobby bitch, but her bouquet/flowers.... omg omg omg. DIY does not have to equal ugly. I've seen plenty of lovely silk/cloth flower bouquets at weddings.

i like them
• I think the button bouquets are cute as well. They weren't what I wanted, but I could definitely see why someone would want them.

I really really hate when people are so judgy about weddings. I won't judge your "untraditional" backyard wedding if you don't judge my wedding. Do what makes you happy, as long as you take care of your guests, and I will do the same and everyone will be happy.

My OMFG was because she comes off as totally ungrateful. Like she should just come out and say "It's not what I want, but I guess I'll settle for it" and I imagine her saying this with a bratty pout on her face.

Am I the only one getting that vibe?

Tim's cousin had a backyard BBQ pig roast wedding a few years ago and honestly, it was awesome.

• Holy hell....

Who lists what they paid for everything?  It's tacky.  I don't care if you're bragging about how much or how little you spent.  Mentioning one great deal you got is one thing, but no one cares how much you're spending on your HM, bitch.  Between talking about how little you have to spend and considering registry inserts she's coming off a bitter, greedy little brat.

Do I think some etiquette rules have room for bending?  Absolutely....just not the ones that she's griping about.

I do, however, kind of like the idea of everyone camping out for the night.  I always wanted a backyard wedding, but we don't know anyone with a big enough yard or ample parking.

Actually.  Budget breakdowns are fairly common and quite useful for other brides in the planning process.

Really? I haven't noticed that on other bios.....though I haven't looked at that many.  Didn't mean to offend if any of you ladies have budget breakdowns in yours!

I just don't like the whole tone of her bio.  Maybe I'm grumpy today.  Congrats.  You got a sun dress for $23 on ebay.  I'm pretty sure I've seen the same one at Wal-mart for $10.  Who gives a fvck?
