Yep, we both are actually, we met when I started my flight training and he was one of my first flight instructors.  He's at an airline now and I'm training to be an instructor but it is SUCH a tedious pain in the butt, I can't wait to be done!

I have a review board, and eight more flights, but with winter weather in Ohio, that could take a while!

Hi!  I feel like I haven't been around in forever.  I've been a major grump for the last few days, and I think I finally snapped out of it today--after a 2 hour nap.  Ahhh. 

I'm just waiting around for H to get home from work.  I kind of want to go out and see a movie or have a late dinner, but we're trying so hard to not spend money.  Maybe we can work something out with all the gift cards we got for Christmas.

CCF, hope you feel better!  Knock on wood, I haven't caught anything yet this winter.  I'm sure when all the kiddos come back to school there will be a lot of germs flying around, though.  Yuck.

It's a bit like an Icee, but it's frozen solid in a cup and you have to scrape at it with the spoon.  And an ice cream maker, those things are so neat!

Evening! Hope all you sickies feel better soon! Koda- So jealous you're going to the Rose Bowl, cheer extra loud for the Ducks for me! That'll be so fun! I just got home from the grocery store and I'm hanging out till H gets home. The weather is rainy and windy and just nasty here. Hope that means snow in the mountains but yesterday it was just rain there too Oh and I'd take period cramps over labor any day, holy hell labor was a bitch!

We've got winter.  Here's my backyard:


I'm working tomorrow and Friday, but it will be quiet.  I just had some sushi with my daughter, and now thinking about popcorn.  I really need to get on the meal planning train and stop being random about what we eat.

She LOVES the snow, Edie.  When we shovel she runs around and wants us to throw it at her.  We hike in the foothills and she's all over the place.
