Here's what stood out to me in the original post.  By this friend/hairdresser not attending the OP's photographer and his wife were able to sit down and have a bite to eat......    so..... you didn't plan any food for them?    Typically people have food arranged for their vendors.  Not required but typical and this comment surprised me.
