Yeah, War and Peace was actually pretty good, at least for the amount that I read it - but the paper was like super thin and really smooth, which skeeves me out. I like that thicker, rougher paper in my books. I realize that the damn book is like a million pages, but come on. Don't skimp on my paper. I don't care if the thing is a foot thick.

I've got an iPhone 4 and I've read books on there before. You "turn the page" A LOT more, obviously, but it's not too irritating.

Also, sort of back to the Bronze Horseman topic...the author also put out a cookbook centered around the food she features in the series. It has all sorts of Russian recipes, some Italian stuff, some American stuff...it's amazing. I have made many a meal from that book.

On a note that is completely unrelated to anything, I am trying so hard to stay up for this royal wedding. I don't think it's working. I'm fading fast. DH has been asleep for hours. WHY do I need to see this? More importantly, WHY don't I have a DVR?
