You guys wanna talk about Dharun Ravi/Tyler Clementi?

Correct me if I am wrong but I think that he got time served plus 30 days.  He has been in jail since he got arrested....is that right?  So he has served roughly 2 and half years plus his 30 days?

n addition to Ravi's jail time - expected to begin next week - Ravi will serve three years' probation, must pay $1,900 in fines, serve 300 hours of community service and pay $10,000 to a charity that helps victims of bias crimes.

I took that from the article.  It doesn't appear he has been in jail.  I didn't realize all the fines and costs he was also being charged.  I didn't read the article before.  I think that much community service and the charity sentence is much better than sitting in jail.

No, he was not in jail. I think the most disgusting thing is that he has never once apologized for what he did. Even the freaking judge mentioned that. Dude is either a sociopath or the biggest fucking douchebag on the face of the planet.
