AW moment - I'm so excited!

My brother's gf is giving FI and I tickets to Green Day tonight! They're awesome seats, too! I've wanted to see Green Day for at least 10 years now! I can't wait!

How's everyone else's day going? Anyone else have exciting news?

ETA: I'm recovering from a pothole fall at the Petrified forest (yesterday) - the weather was spectacular, the company was divine, and the views were breathtaking

Jealous!!!  I had to see Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed yesterday.  It was actually a good show, but I'm not into the music, so I had a migraine.  FI had an awesome time, so that part was great.  I got him the tix for his bday, and I always feel like i pick out the worst gifts for people, so I was glad to do a good job this time.

That sounds like an awesome gift! I was into avenged sevenfold when they first came out, but not so much anymore. I do like disturbed, though. It's too bad you had a migraine. That's a bummer!

I think I just got a migraine because it was super hot out, everyone was smoking weed (it seemed like at, at least), and I was tired.  But I recommend the show--the visuals were amazing and the guys put a lot of effort into it.

But Greenday--I would kill for those tix

That's understandable. I used to go to Warped Tour and Edgefest religiously and the last time I went, I nearly passed out from the heat. I'm sure the weed doesn't help either. 

I would totally take you with me if I could!


kpwedkk - I'm sorry to hear about your fall. Are you ok? I would love to go the petrified forest! I think I went when I was really young, but I don't remember it very well.

We're going to try and get tickets when he comes to Cincy in a couple of months.  I love him.  Tosh.0 is ranked in my top shows that are a must watch every week.

Hi LedZ I'm fine, just sore, and probably the dumbest thing that's ever happened to me.. We went to the grand canyon and stayed the night Saturday, and then drove over to the Petrified Forest.  I'm thinking about some portrait shots with the Painted Desert

ETA: More pictures: Oops I'm Hijacking your thread teehehehe - and all of these shots are in Arizona - we aren't the desert that you think we are

I like Tosh, too.  I really want to see Joel McHale.  I thought he would just be funny on tv, but not in stand-up because I'm used to him having accompanying clips.  My friend saw him last year and said he was awesome, though.

We just got turned on to Tosh.0 a month or so ago. It is funny, but we miss it most the time.

That's a beautiful picture!  I would love to travel the Southwest--I've only been to Vegas, but I don't really count that :). 

The Petrified Forest sounds awesome.  FI and I love that stuff--we just went to the Muir Woods with all of the redwoods and it was one of the best experiences ever.  This one will probably make it's way onto our bucket list.

On the way to the Grand Canyon, stop by the Flintstone's park too We spent about 1.5 hours there, it was a blast!

This was driving through Flagstaff, before getting to the Grand Canyon!

Yes Yes! I agree, there's a reason why these are all National Parks!! There's somehing worth seeing at each place!!
