I do like PW.  I was afraid to check out her blog because of some cow placenta story I heard, lol, but her recipes are tits.

I haven't tried that sauce yet, not sure I've seen that recipe?  Sounds... AMAZEBALLS.  I've made her chicken with mustard cream sauce, pork chops with wine and garlic, bbq comfort meatballs, and some fucking amazing burgers.  Probably some other things too, I can't remember though lol.

Yesterday at Trader Joes i heard about this amazing creation called Cookie Spread.  It's like peanut butter, but it's just smashed up cookies. 

I wanted to buy it, but i was scared of eating it all.  Instead Trader Joes had a dark chocolate bar with the cookie spread inside.  It was amazing.

Today was sloooooow. BUT we pretty much decided to go back to Turks and Caicos this fall, potentially for our 1 year anniversary. So you can bet I was researching that shiit all day. Have it narrowed down now- but why do plane tickets have to be so effin expensive???

Afternoon!

i've been barely productive today and it feels nice.  Lots of things done but none of them required major effort.  My seedlings/plants got a little outdoor time today (4hours) in an effort to get them all hardy and ready to be 24/7 outdoor plants.  The tomatoes seem to have loved it but the beans are less than impressed.

I'm so sluggish today though.  i think my sugars must be off.  So I'll probably put off trying my new dvd workout and just watch a little tv until it's time to cook dinner.  Easy dinner tonight.  Sausage, mushrooms, and peppers.  Yum!

YES! We pick him up this Saturday (we spent a crap ton at Petsmart) and I think we are settled on Atticus.

H wanted to wait another week, but I told him hell no, because he is leaving me that following week.

I just set up my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits next week.  I know my wedding isn't until August, but I wanted to get my portraits done before the craziness of summer starts.  I'm doing them in Gruene, which is a little town north of where I live, and it's a really big touristy area during the summer.  Doing portraits in that area during the summer just wouldn't happen.  I am just waiting on a call from the florist I want to use.

And FI and I are going to do a second cake testing next week.  And I think we are going to start pricing stuff for the honeymoon now that we know where we want to go.   

I am so ready for wedding planning to be done already.  I'm already not the most organized or patient person and this is just making it worse lol.  I just have a few more months.  I'm looking forward to the wedding and the day, but I'm more looking forward to spending the rest of my life with FI.

In non-WR news, I swore into the Air Force Delayed Entry Program last week on Thursday.  My earliest date that I can leave for Basic Training is September 1st, so it doesn't interfere with my impending nuptials.  And it actually gives FI and I a chance to go on a honeymoon and get stuff taken care of here before I leave.

MIchael took off for Lake Erie again today, so I'll be home alone until Friday. I have no idea what I'm going to do for dinner...most likely oyster crackers and ginger ale WOO HOO. I might go hog wild and eat some real food then see if I can pass out before it makes me sick. So pretty much, I live a fascinating life at the moment.

Lazy-ish day for me today.  I did tons of stuff but nothing that required any real kind of effort.  it's been kinda nice.  My seedlings/plants had an outside feild trip today in an effort to get them hardy enough to be 24/7 outdoor plants.  The tomatoes appear to have loved it but the beans seem less than impressed.  I need the weather to just stabilize.

I looked up that chicken recipe AATB mentioned and it looks amazing. I love anything with mustard. It also looks a bit decadent though so i doubt I'll be making it anytime soon.

This right here is my favorite chicken and mustard recipe. I just use thighs though. FH loves it too and it's a really easy weeknight meal. 

I'm excited to make purple potatoes again tonight. They were great last time but I think I can improve on the recipe.

It was the only name we could agree on, I think. I don't remember beyond that just that it had to be a human name. We call him vin and vinny, but rarely vincent. Generally I just call him by one of his many nicknames.
