WFD/Evening thread?

How's everyone doing?
Today was just one of those days. My taxes are giving me a huge headache and my dad is refusing to admit he's been getting deductions from money I paid toward college the past 3 years.  I hate taxes.
Plus I just feel so meh today.  Idk why.
I'm working the other job tonight. I can't wait till it's done so I can go work out.  I need to blow off some frustrations.

  • I'm not going anywhere tonight. My road isn't plowed and it's been snowing like crazy for the last two days. We're having soup for supper tonight because FI's not feeling good.

We're watching "A Haunting in Salem" right now and it's really stupid.

  • Dinner is Caesar salad and pizza for us. I bought tons of groceries yesterday but didn't plan ahead enough to have anything better for tonight.

although, I'm also going to try a salad a girlfriend gave me a recipe for this weekend: green apples, parmesan cheese, chives, olive oil, and lemon juice. We'll see how it goes, it will be lunch tomorrow!

I'm going to Vegas in about 88 days and want my legs to look good in the dresses I bought, so I really really should go to the gym, but squats and lunges in front of the TV will work too.

    Have a good evening, ladies!

[QUOTE]It rained today so the drive in sucked. Which means our drive home is going to be worst. I didn't get to go to the market this weekend so we will either pick something up or find some at home. I think I might suggested Chipotle.  I am excited it is open house this weekend at Dodger stadium so we are going to go and figure out what plan we want and what seats.

1st and 2nd get 45 mins and then 30 minutes a week (2 class periods).  3 and 4 get three 30 min classes.  5/6 is in one class, they get 30 twice a week and 45 once a week.  My 10th grade girl is signed up for the 30, 30 and 45 as well, but we added another 30 before school once a week.  This all happens when my Kinders are in drama, art, music, gym or other languages.
  • Hi.
I just had subway, and I'll probably have leftover lentil soup later on tonight. I have a cold, and spent 2 hours at my school waiting to see a counselor. Now, I just have to decide what classes to take this coming semester. Ugh.

  • Evening ladies!

I'm sitting my happy butt at work.  It's been really dreary here for a while and it was foggy all day, now raining.  I had chinese food delivered to the hospital so I got that for lunch.  MMMMM.  Plus I talked to K for a few hours up until I had to leave for work.

Tomorrow I need to get up to the post office to ship him some stuff he requested and the cheesecake cookies I made him, and if I get up early enough I want to go to the gym to kickstart my workout regimen.

  • Good Evening!!

I just got home from work and I'm totally exhausted. I have such an intense head ache right now all I want to do is sleep. Too bad I still have like 50 things to do. Grr.

  • I'm right you ladies who feel very meh today. I dealt with crazy-ass road rage-filled drivers both to and from work. I actually brake-checked someone this morning, which I have never in my life done before, but this guy was being a real jackass. I was in the fast lane, stuck behind a slow-moving motorcyclist, but I couldn't pass him because I had a car next to me. This guy came flying up on my bumper, flashing his lights trying to get me to go faster. I always give motorcyclists their space since they're so unpredictable, but this guy was relentless. He even started on honking at me. I got pissed and brake-checked his ass, and he flew around the other to pass me. I bet when he saw the motorcyclists, he felt really stupid.

Then I got my orders today, which I'm excited about, but my replacement is the guy I mentioned a few weeks ago who emailed me, lecturing me on how unprofessional I was being (he didn't do his job, so I brought it up to his boss). Anyway, I'm just kinda bummed this guy is going to be taking my place, because he's a first class douchecanoe.

And then when I got home today, H was in a fine mood. He kept picking at me over the stupidest, piddly little shiit. We had a spat, and he went to go take a nap. It's just after 7 and he's still in bed, even though I apologized, he's just being stubborn at this point.

  • Sarah - I was heading south on 95 near the Hollywood Blvd exit. That area just before the Golden Glades interchange is like the Bermuda Triangle. It's where someone threw a baseball at my windshield, and just a few exits down the road from there is where we got sideswiped on New Year's. I'm starting to realize just why our car insurance is so wicked expensive (~$400/month for my car and his truck, with a $500 deductible if we have an accident).

    Hello!

I've been crazy busy at work, so I haven't really been active on the board today.  (I'm covering for a co-worker who is out on maternity leave, and her job responsibilities are completely different from mine.)

I want to watch the debate tonight, but I will probably forget as soon as I get home and play SW:TOR all evening.  Then I'll read the commentary tomorrow on the thoroughly unbiased (lol) HuffPo.  ;)

It's been a day (and weekend, really) of little irritations.  Someone got into my PayPal account and bought $300 worth of international postage before PayPal shut down them down for suspected fraud, and I've been dealing with closing my checking account and transferring assets and filing paperwork for reimbursement.  Also, the company I ordered my textbook from apparently neglected to include the access code I need to do the homework online, and now is refusing to let me purchase it separately.  Apparently, I need to either buy a second textbook (this one bundled with an access code) on drop the class and write off my losses.

    Sigh.

<div>My favoraite thing when I had my wisdom tooth pulled was homemade milkshakes.  Ice cream, milk, and whatever syrup/fruit you want in a blender.  YUM.  I had at least one everyday for a week because I was concerned about not getting enough calories and losing weight. It was an emergency extraction 3 weeks before my wedding and my dress fit perfectly.  I ended up losing 5 pounds anyway and needing my dress altered.  Go figure. </div>

  • Im in a great mood - i sucked it up and emailed those roller derby girls and got a bunch of information. Theyre having an info thing next weekend so im going to go find out what I can do. I dont want to skate but I wouldnt mind helping organize events and what not. I think it would be good to get me out of the house and meeting new people, and its sorta bad ass.

I made pork chops in mushroom soup sauce, potatoes and baby carrots for dinner, pretty basic but delicious. Tonight is an off night for working out so I plan to watch some friends and then read before bed :)
