Well my frustrations are minimal compared to some of yours.

@scoetto- please dont lose faith. I know it's hard. I was employed with the same place for 20 years, then suddenly found myself unemployed. After a year and nothing I finally had to move in with FI (now DH) and sell my house.
I put in I know 5 resumes or more a day, and I would get nothing. Finally I got called for this one.And he didnt call my references till after my second interview.

Our RSVP due date was today ... and we have over 1/2 the RSVP's still out! And it's all FI friends (including the some of the guys in the wedding party) and his side of the family. Like literally out of the 95 people in his family only 30 have sent in the RSVP's!!!

My other frustration is FMIL is still asking to invite people to the wedding that is a month away, when we had to take co-works off our list because their list consisted of almost 1/2 of the guest list.  Finally I had to tell her no more!!!

And she keeps buying decorations for the hall with out me! She has also bought the ring bearer pillows without me - only to have me HATE them and find new ones.  Love that she is willing to help out, but I've asked her to include me and she thinks showing me stuff she bought for MY wedding is include me.... uhhhh NO.

FSIL (who is also my MOH) is trying to dictate my seating arrangement so that her daughters babysitter can sit with the family.  But the family table is FULL and I was planning on sitting her daughters & their sitter with her husbands parents - right by the family table.  She think's I'm being rude and not including her girls in the wedding.... yet they are BOTH flower girls...

How much water do you drink? I've had bowel issues since I was 5 or 6 and can get terribly constipated (read: for weeks). I noticed after I started drinking a lot of water on a regular basis it helped keep me regular.

Yeah, I know. I don't really like that stuff. This has been an ongoing problem since I was a baby. Sigh.

Sco, I admit I don't drink as much water as I should. I drink it, don't get me wrong, but nowhere near the recommended 8 glasses a day. Water makes me nauseated sometimes.

If I ever have problems I make smoothies with a ton of berries and add Benefiber (the kind you can't even taste), which helps a lot.

I have a sister who had problems her whole life though and she tried EVERYTHING.  Finally last year, she ended up getting her gall bladder out and she's a pooping machine.  I could be wrong but - your gall bladder is supposed to operate at a 35 (something-or-other-level) and hers was at a 7.  No wonder the poor thing was always stopped up!

Where is cew with all this poop talk?

AllAbout, that's interesting about the gall bladder. The doctor told me I had some "sludge" in my gallbladder, due to a combination of diet and my BC pills. I didn't even know BC can mess with your gallbladder. Hmm.

You'd be surprised how normal water intake will magically fix your issue and make you go daily. It has for me. And, like you, the issues are severe and from when I was little.

The gall bladder stores bile for digestion - so if its not working properly yeah it can mess up your bowel movements.

My uncle who also got his gall bladder out last year has some pretty hilarious poop stories - after he got his out, if he had the... ahem... urge, I guess, he could not wait more than a couple minutes, no matter what he was doing or where he was.  It made for a couple of extremely interesting situations.

Especially if you up your fiber intake, up your water intake - otherwise, it will just make it worse.

When my nephew was a baby, he'd get constipated, and my SIL would put like a tablespoon of Karo syrup in his bottle and apparently, that worked. Don't ask me how.

I have some tablets I chew that add fiber - I take them now and then, if I feel like I haven't gotten enough.

I haven't had a gallbladder in 20 years, so I couldn't tell you  about that one.

I'm frustrated for FI.  He's applied to so many jobs, but hasn't really heard back anything.  He's applying for jobs he's qualified for and is just reaping nothing.  I can tell it's wreaking hell on his self-confidence - he hates that he's not going to be able to support it.  I just wish I could help him out.
