Hey ladies!

I am so tired this morning, I think my family drama of late is taking a toll!

I suddenly realized that I really have nothing exciting going on today. Work, Gym, Glee Premier...oh, wait, Glee Premier!

What's up with the rest of y'all?

Blech.  Not even close to Friday.  I work a double today and I didn't sleep worth crap.  Other than that, nothing exciting here!

Morning...

I'm up (bright and early) to go to my new job.  It's day five at new job and I spend most of my time missing my old job, being on my best possible behavior, and not goofing off.  I'm starting to find it exhausting and I want things to go back to normal already. 

On a side note, I'd like to be silver.  Can I be silver yet??

Morning. I'm waiting for our morning meeting so we can be told, yet again for the fifth time in two days, how much we suck and come up with ways to not suck anymore.

Our department is pretty much the dumping grounds for corporate, so lately we've been used as the punching bag for retention issues. I can't handle it anymore. I don't want to be here. I want to be home curled up with my book and forgetting the rest of the world exists.

Morning.  I'm completely exhuasted.  FI and I were up from about 12-2 thanks to a freak thunderstorm and crazy dog.  

I have to get a cavity filled today, too, and I'm not looking forward to paying for it.

mentally exhausting, im busy all day and I have a lot to keep track of, but I enjoy it. Its everything I enjoyed at my job before, but minus my prick of a boss. He really is a huge prick. He is ignoring my requests for my final pay - he shrugged it off at first because he was going on vacation and was busy because of what I did, but now he is just ignoring me.

Nebb - do you have a wage & hour division or some other agency (I don't know what they call it in Canada) you can get help to collect your last paycheck?  He can't ignore you forever when he legitimately owes you wages.

Good morning! I have no idea what day it is, as they all run together now. I realized last night how incredibly lonely I am. My longest conversations are now with my 9 year old and, while I enjoy talking to her, I need some adult interaction, pronto. I miss my old co-workers and my old town, where I could call friends up and have lunch or drinks (HEELS!) and talk for a few hours. I'm going to start talking to the walls soon, and I'm really scared they'll talk back.

Sorry to be a downer. I just had to let that out.

Our house is going up for sale today! Yay, we can finally get out of the 'hood! We haven't found a place yet, but H is applying for a few jobs out of state, so we want to wait until he hears about those jobs first. If we have to, we can rent for a few months if our house sells and we don't have a place.

B- One of the jobs H is applying to is North American Breweries, which is in Rochester!

I would love to move out there. The only thing that would suck is moving away from my family, but H's family is up there so it would be ok. And it's only an 8-hour drive home, so that's not bad. The other place he's applying to is in Golden, Colo. That is very, very far from here.

It goes. I'm applying left and right, and I've had a few interviews. It's mostly part time work, and a lot of contract that I could do from home, which I think would work, but God almighty I miss being around people every day. I'm actually doing some contract work right now, but it's a long, involved project and it's keeping me from working on the house.

We've gotten rid of just about everything but the upstairs office, which is where all the CDs and memorabilia is for Mr. MFJ. :) I really want my furniture from my old house here, but it's staging the house and I can't move it until the house sells. I've assembled more cabinets and bookcases than I care to mention, and we just need to get all the sorted piles of stuff organized on the shelves and in the drawers, then I'm ripping up the carpet in the dining room and staining the concrete so I can move my table in. I'm sick of eating in the den!

Good Morning, I hope this day goes as quick as yesterday did.

Bec- Sorry you're feeling lonley. I know what it was like for me when I first moved up here. I cried for 2 weeks straight, and had to buy a new cell phone (mine got wet from all the tears). And even now, I have no one to do things with, DH wonders why I force him to go shopping with me, cause I have no girlfriends to call up, so you're it.

Feel asleep watching Hawaii Five-O last night, yeah it's that exciting.

Bec, it sounds like you have every right to be pooped.  I'm a busy bee with school and really want a mental health day, but have no idea when I'd take it because I have class every day.  Every day is something important I shouldn't miss.

I wish we lived closer, KD! I joined the PTA at Chloe's school, but I really don't identify with SAHMs whose every waking moment revolves around their kids and mom jeans and avoiding BJs. I need friends who love their kids but still love talking about and drinking grown up things. Hopefully some part time work will pick up for a company downtown and I can go into the office a few times a week and have a life again. I didn't realize how big all these changes that hit at once were until now. It's not fun, but it will get better.

I feel that way too, completely alone here. My closest friend in Jax just moved to Georgia and my best friend, who never lived here in the first place, has decided for some reason she doesn't feel like returning my phone calls. And H works all day, every day.

But I can't get him to go shopping with me. He gets so crabby that it's not worth it. Not that I'm a joy to shop with either, just walking into the mall gives me a headache (literally, I think it's the harsh lighting).

Yeah I love the people I work with,but they are definatly not people I would hang out with after hours. Very stick in the mud. My DH and I come from small country towns. And up here it's like no one has a sense of humor. We're very smart a$$ people.
I'll have to get to NC again sometime. Just to visit you girls.

I know how you feel. I'm getting ready to move 1300 miles from everyone I know, and hoping that once I start school down there I'll meet some people. But that likely won't be for another year at least, so I'll probably spend most of my time working, and then Knotting, lol.

On the good morning note, my parents are finally getting back from vacation today, and I'm extremely happy I won't have to deal with people giving me annoyed looks because I don't know the details of every vanity in here.
