I've found that if you put a postive spin, then it's not confrontational. You're not mad  at her. You love her. If you go from that place, then it's not an attack.

Yes, attacks never work and they usually just piss people off.

I think my H is going to talk to her. He is much better at wording things in a soft way.

About 6 months ago I had a girl (she looked under 13yrs old) come up to me in the mall and call me the N word and run away. People don't think this stuff still goes on. And just the other weekend I was walking to 7eleven with my friend and a white supremacist was walking past, I was so scarred because he gave me the look of death. I know he would have done something if it was not for my guy friend walking with me who happens to look white.

This stuff usually dose not happen to me that often living in California and all...Is something in the water?

racism is probably the most disgusting thing i can think of. you should give her some direction. there is enough ignorance and hate in the world as it is.

This makes me really sad.  To have those thoughts in your head at such a young age is just that much more tragic.
