The classroom I'm in now has two doors. One of the knobs just fell off, making the door impossible to open.

Now I'm worried the other door will malfunction, and I'll be trapped in here looking at pictures of Herbert Hoover with classmates who seem to have bathed in Axe.

I wish we could go down to 50 when we're not home.  Around here, they recommend not going below about 55 because with outside temps, that makes it risky for frozen pipes.  (well, not this winter, but you know)

I am so terrified for how much our new house is going to cost to heat.  It's a big house.  Luckily it's energy star rated and the windows are awesome, but goddamn it, almost 3000 square feet is a lot.  WHY did we buy a house so big?!

J- you might be surprised.  Our gas/elec bills have been super reasonable this past year.  Part of that is obviously the tame winter, but summer was brutal. Even with our 46 year-old a/c (yup), we never went above $80/mo for our elec bill. We easily hit that in our apatment, thanks to the window a/c unit.

Our house is a split-level and it's about 2,000 sq ft with some really crappy 'insulation' at some points.  The new windows help, but still.

I'm not cold though.  I'd rather be slightly chilly and have an excuse to grab a blanket anyway. :)  I still hang out in pants and a tank top most of the time.  The basement gets cooler, but then we just light a fire. Totally worth the $100s in savings.

When you go to the gym, do you change out in the open, or do you go to a bathroom stall or the shower area?

I'm trying to exercise more, but I use my school's gym, and the locker room is full of very fit twenty year olds. I don't want them to point and laugh.

I change before I go. If I need to get ready after, I get dressed in the shower.  Or, at least my pants and tank top.

We keep our house at 73 right now with no heat.The AC will turn on if goes above 75. During the day the AC won't turn on unless the house gets above 90. In the summer we keep it at 70 or below.  

I always wonder why people who know I am diabetic give me sweets as gifts. I will admit that I do cheat and eat something sweet but I don't need 4 boxes of candies and cookies.

I wonder why a costco hot dog makes me burp but any other hot dog doesn't. During baseball season I eat two a week sometimes more and nothing but the minute I finish one from costco I burp. I still get them because you can't beat $2 hot dog and a soda for lunch.

I plan on using one of the boxes of Thin Mints as a crust for a dark chocolate cheesecake - really hope it turns out. 

Another random - a new program at work has been named PAP.  Really have to wonder who came up with that acronym.

Also, I hate bad breath so much.  How can people not tell that their breath is so bad. I am super paranoid about having bad breath that I chew gum religiously.  When FI acts like I have bad breath I go into panic mode.  I'm strange.

There's a sauna at my gym.  I really want to use it, but I have never seen anyone go in it.  I'm afraid if I open it there will be a corpse or some weird ish to be found.
