You can take a half-piss? I admire your ability to stop halfway. I do not have this skill.
 
My doc confuses me whenever I go. Sometimes they charge me a co-pay, other times they don't. They can't make up their minds and I usually end up getting a check from the insurance company whenever they do charge me, though not for the full cost.

I am amazed at the idea of a half-piss.  I don't do many things half-way so yeah, half-pissing would be a pretty big challenge.  I'm kinda interested in seeing if I could do it.

Thankfully, most of the employers at my clinic are under the same insurance group, so they seem to 'get' our copays and stuff.  Only once have they charged me a copay when they shouldn't.  All preventative stuff is covered, so I think they just forgot to mark  an eye appt as that.  Who knows.

JCB- that makes more sense.  One time I got a Groupon for a mani/pedi.  I went in for my appt and the receptionist was bitching and moaning about how OMG THEY WERE SO BUSY because of the Groupon.  Sorry. Isn't that a good thing?

I made cake balls last night and brought a shitton of them into work today and I am loving that they are disappearing.  They taste good but I can't have that many in my house, ffs.  I would eat myself into a room and get stuck there.

I found out about this restaurant event here where a bunch of expensive restaurants offer a fixed menu for a reduced price. A whole crapton of the menus look freaking amazing. I wish we could afford to go to more than one

Nebb, we have something similar here! MSP Magazine's Restaurant Week. It's awesome. We went to one last year at Fogo de Chao. $30 per person to split 3 appetizers, unlimited salad bar and MEAT, and a dessert each.  Normally, that would've cost at least $200. It was fantastic. 

I want to try another one this year. They do lunch and dinner options usually.

I just recently started checking groupon. For some reason I was thisclose to buying liposuction. THEY OFFER LIPOSUCTION ON GROUPON. I just got into that "savings" mentality and wanted to buy stuff.

I got annpoyed at getting so many emails for crap I wasn't interested so I cancelled groupon. It was pissing me off.

My H had a Groupon problem and I had to make him stop.  He had around 60 of them at one point. 

And I wouldn't have gotten so angry, but they started expiring on him!  The only good thing (at least in Illinois) if you have a  a groupon,living social, you swoop, etc. they are always good for the value you paid for them even after expiration.

I told him he had to start using them before he could buy more.

The local Groupon stuff sucks around here. There's not any good restaurants and the salons they feature are terrible. Some of the Groupon goods or online deals are ok, but I feel like the quality of stuff they are offering has gone down considerably.

This is more of an irritation than thought, but I joined MyGlam (like Birchbox but newer) a while back and I'll be getting my first bag this month. I thought stuff was supposed to ship and arrive sometime around the 10th. No. I just got my shipping email today and I won't get it until sometime between the 18-21. WTF. Unless the products are really good, I'm cancelling my subscription.

Every once in a while, FI (a history buff) will randomly tell me historical facts and, typically, I don't mind. However, some days, it reinforces the fact that history was/is not my strength and kind of makes me feel dumb (I was always better with Art History). Today, he's telling me about World War I. I just wonder his about his thought process sometimes and how he would react if I started randomly talkiing about "Hamlet" or something.

Also, I have three cats who will randomly disappear for extended periods of time. I always wonder if they're just off sleeping somewhere or getting into something. Like right now.

I haven't seen "House" in a loonngg time, but finding out it's ending in May makes me said.

Speaking of TV shows, has anyone seen "Prison Break" in its entirety? I'm a few episodes into the third season and I think it's going downhill (they put Michael in prison again)... Is it worth finishing the series?

My random thought for the day...... why do they no longer make chocolate twinkies? I have been craving them but all I find are the yellow ones. I know sooo bad for me but I just don't really care right now!
