I know we've talked about zombies here and there but in honor of Halloween and my love for them I have a few questions for y'all.

What would you do if a zombie invasion happened?

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go?

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last?

What would you use as a weapon?

What would you do if you saw a zombie that was someone you knew?

Do you think you'd be able to survive a zombie invasion?

Hunker down, wait it out.

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go?
my zombie plan is based around us baracading us inside the house. I think its incredibly impractical when people say they will hole up in stores or raid gun shops.

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last?
Probably a few months at best, longer if the power holds and we can keep whats in the freezer

What would you use as a weapon?
We have an axe in the basement, a fire poker, a very sturdy shovel and probably some other things.

What would you do if you saw a zombie that was someone you knew?

I dont think anyone can truly answer that. It depends on SO many things (speed of the invasion, speed of the zombies, amount of supplies at time of invasion, where you are when it strikes, etc)

What would you do if a zombie invasion happened? I am torn. I may as well just let them turn me into one so I don't have to deal with it. Or I pray that H's weapons hold out against them.

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go? Well if I had easy access to a plane I would probably go to an island. An island far, far away.

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last? Maybe 2 days.

What would you use as a weapon? Shotguns, pistols, rifles, knives. H is prepared.

What would you do if you saw a zombie that was someone you knew? No idea. I mean it's a little too late now.

Do you think you'd be able to survive a zombie invasion? Let's hope so.

What would you do if a zombie invasion happened?  Think I was hallucinating.

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go?   I can't think of any place that is really safe from zombies that is nearby.

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last?   A couple of weeks if I really rationed it.

What would you use as a weapon?   Baseball bat.  I'd use a taser to stun them first, if that works on zombies...

What would you do if you saw a zombie that was someone you knew?  Take em' out...I've seen enough zombie movies to know what happens if you think twice about it!

I think I might go to a public place, like the municipal building.  It's not far (down the block) and it brick, plus officials and cops (with guns, whew) would be there.

Eek, not too long.  We have a lot of perishables.

Anything.

Probably cry.

28 Days Later.  I'm showing Night of the Living Dead (just finished/discussed today), I am Legend, and 28 Days Later in Film!

1. I have no doubt I would kick ass during a zombie invasion and find the top story of an abandoned building (a la 28 days) and honker up and protect people.

2. My food wouldn't last a day (we shop only a few days at a time) hence why I would immediatly leave my house (also we live on the first floor of a heavy populated area).

3. I would want a baseball bat, fo' sho'. And a shotgun. And some grenades.

4. I would kill a zombie friend, no love for the zombie friend.

5. Yes, because of # 4, and I am a survivor.

6. I know it's not the most awesome ever, but 28 Days Later, because I was blown away in the theater and it wasn't expected.

The way I see it, why do people always think they will be safer somewhere else? How do you know there are no zombies inside? You might walk right into disaster, when you would have been safer if you stayed put. There are too many unknown variables if you take off searching for a place.

I have a flow chart that answers all of these questions.

I word survive, b/c when our Prof. assigned zombie attack plans, my flow chart was already made.

Anyway, important question--- Are the zombies FAST or SLOW?

Well technically, according to zombie rules, they're always supposed to be slow and dead that come back to life. That's why 28 Days later isn't really a zombie movie...because those people where never dead. They had a rage virus or something.

So let's say they're "medium". They aren't dragging themselves around but they aren't running either.

What would you do if a zombie invasion happened? Scream and freak out.

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go? I'd go to an island just off the coast of my hometown and wait it out there.  You can walk out to it when the tide is low, but zombies are too stupid to figure that out.

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last? What we have in the cupboards would last a few weeks.  What we have in our survival kit would last for another couple of weeks.

What would you use as a weapon? I'd take the .40 and N would take the rifle and ax.

What would you do if you saw a zombie that was someone you knew? I'd make sure that they were actually crazy before killing them,

Do you think you'd be able to survive a zombie invasion? Yes, but only with N's help. He's very resourceful.

If they are slow zombie, I fortify my own house and go on weekly supply runs.
I can handle slow zombies.

If the slow zombie bites my friend, well that's just Darwinism, and I'm not going to fight it. Friend has to die.

-Preferably the house in the country or hills but we're prepared enough to hold up at home

-2 to 3 months, longer if the electricity stays on 5-6 months without major rationing

What would you use as a weapon?
-.22, 12 gauge, baseball bat, various knives and swords if need be, and i can whip up a few devices of an explosive nature

-verify zombie status, take them out

Do you think you'd be able to survive a zombie invasion?
-reasonably well.  of course chaos theory always comes into play

-Any Romero zombie flick, but Dawn of the dead is probably my favorite

What would you do if a zombie invasion happened? According to H, we would nail all of our interior doors to cover up the windows, use bookshelves to cover all outside vents and hunker down. He went through our house one day counting to make sure we had enough doors, and went to the hardware store when I pointed out our nails aren't long enough to go through them (to get long nails, which we now have)

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go? We would probably stay home. Maybe go to my parent's friends house in the mountain so we couldn't be surrounded.

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last? If we rationed we could probably go a couple of months. It wouldn't be pretty, but we could do it.

What would you do if a zombie invasion happened? Well, I'm going to assume that I'll be down in the states at this point. So I'd probably make sure Brandon wasn't dead first of all.

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go? I would stay at home as long as possible. I'd probably head south after the brunt of the infection/changes was over.

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last? Not long.

What would you use as a weapon? Anything I could find. Most likely a chair leg.

What would you do if you saw a zombie that was someone you knew? If it was someone other than Brandon or my parents, probably kill them.

Do you think you'd be able to survive a zombie invasion? Realistically, probably not. If I had Brandon, possibly.

Is a zombie attack something you really want to be totally unprepared for? Sure, it may never happen, but if it DOES I would much rather have a rough idea of wtf to do.

Way more possible, I think.

Look, I know if it were to happen, it's not going to be like it is in a zombie movie. But the point is, some sort of weird outbreak could happen at any time. I do believe in aliens (not that they're green with big black eyes like in movies) but I feel like they've been around for a while and if they were going to show up, they'd have made it obvious by now.

I just think it's way more possible for something crazy to happen with humans on this planet, than for some outerspace species to suddenly show up.

But also, I love zombies, so I'm biased.

both are equally possible, though in the event of an alien invasion they have much more advanced tools and ways to kill so theres really no use in trying unless you are tom cruise.
