Okay, so like an I am Legend type scenario where people get some strange virus and they mutate into zombies, not bodies rising from graves?  That makes more sense to me.

Maybe not, maybe so. Maybe something like 28 Days Later where people become infected with a rage virus. Which is acceptable to me, because I can be pretty angry, ahaha.

You just never know.

My whole point of this thead was 50% fun and 50% seriousness.

Me + fast zombies dont mix, if they are slow and shambling I would be fine, but if they can RUN... oh no!

I have to admit that sometimes when I run at the gym, I consider it training for if/when rage/fast zombies attack.

I am a MASSIVE zombie buff, and so is my FI, so this post excites me!

What would you do if a zombie invasion happened?
My FI would quickly pack up what we need [including our copy of the zombie survival guide], head over to our friends' apartment ['cause they're big zombie buffs, too] and do everything we can to get their apartment/building ready for an invasion, as apartment buildings are one of the more safe places to hole up.

Would you stay at home or is there somewhere else you think would be safe to go?
See above statement. Our house is a one story, teeny tiny house. Definitely not ideal for a zombie invasion.

If it happened tonight, how long would your food supply last?
Our food supply would probably get us through at least 2 weeks at the moment. But at the beginning of an invasion, we would risk running to the grocery store to stock up on what we need.

What would you use as a weapon?
I'm sure my FI would grab anything blunt. He likes melee weapons. We would also probably try a gun store once the infection spreads a significant amount [that way we won't have to pay for what we need. Lol!].

What would you do if you saw a zombie that was someone you knew?
Kill them. They're a zombie, there's nothing you can do. My FI and I already agreed that if it ever happened and one of us got bit, we'd off the one that was bit. It's about survival. Emotions only lessen your chances.

Do you think you'd be able to survive a zombie invasion?
Most definitely. If not completely, then definitely for at least 80-90% of it.

Favorite zombie movie?
Mm...gods, I have lots. Pretty much any zombie movie, for the most part. Like I said, major zombie buff.


AmeliaMarie: Yes, zombies are plausible. Not Romero's when-there's-no-more-room-in-hell-the-dead-will-walk-the-earth zombies, but zombies caused by an infection are certainly plausible.
