when men are sick...

"My throat hurts"  "I can't breath" "I need another nap" "I am calling in sick tomorrow"

Good lord.  Get me out of this house!

I'm a lucky girl; FI hardly ever gets sick and he's not a whiner at all! Really, I'm the whiney baby in the household. Heh. Poor FI.

Yes, but.......... I must admit. I am guilty, too. If I stay home sick, I stay in bed. J will bring me pop-tarts, milk, my purse (or certain items - phone iTouch, medication), a drink, etc.

Before he goes to work, he'll make me lunch, put Max in the kennel downstairs, and bring the notebook computer upstairs if I want that.

Not that I don't hear sighing....

Of course, he manages to get sick on the weekend; mine are usually on the weekday, or on a day he's bike riding.

Which is worse, a big baby or a total grouch? My brother and stepdad are babies, but H just gets really grumpy. He doesn't ask for anything, gets irritated if I offer to go to the store to get medicine or soup, and generally wants to be left alone. I think it's because he hates not being able to work and feels like he's wasting time in bed. he gets me grouchy when he's sick.

LOL Groom, I think you are a bit too biased towards the BJ since that seem to be your answer to everything.....being sick....unexpected excitement at the ceremony....is there anything a BJ won't fix?  From a guys perspective, besides BJ's and duct tape what else does the world need?

You should get some of those fake blood things that you bite open the next time he says that. Make sure you have a camera ready to get his reaction.

When my fiance is sick he turns into this poor, pathetic slug that can't move and camps out on his couch for a week.  I get the same cold - and I don't even miss a day of work.

    He's such a wimp :) But I love him.
