1. Are you artistic? I can be

2. Is your FI/H/S.O. artistic? No!

3. What kinds of art do you do? Graphic design, dancing and writing

4. What kind of art does FI/H do? None unless you count disecting cadavers as an art - yayy med school

5. What kind of art have you always wanted to try? Photography, I love it and am currently looking for a class

6. Favorite Artists?  I don't know many artists but I love to go to local galleries and festivals

7. What inspires you artistically? Music, always music.  What stifles you? Time restraints, too much pressure gives me a block

Wow I'm late to this. But I love love love this thread! So many wonderfully talented ladies on here! It makes my heart smile :-)

Anyhoo, without further ado...

1. Are you artistic? Yuppers

2. Is your FI/H/S.O. artistic? You betcha

3. What kinds of art do you do? Painting (oil, acrylic, mixed media), drawing, graphic design, Chinese ink painting, and some (rather shoddy) photography.

4. What kind of art does FI/H do? Drawing, painting (oil and acrylic), cartooning (which he also used to teach to kids).

5. What kind of art have you always wanted to try? Tattooing! And foundry work. But I suck at sculpture so there goes that.

6. Favorite Artists? Shawn Barber, George Tooker, Edward Hopper, Picasso, a slew of others that somehow won't come to mind right now.

7. What inspires you artistically?  Music, books, people, events in my life (I've been painting primarily self-portraits for the past 4 years or so). Stifles? Lack of time is a big one. And the lack of an operational studio. I don't think a pile of stuff in the corner counts as one.

8. Bonus: PIP and AW your creations.

Let's see what I have here...eh, none of the good stuff. But here goes:

It's acrylic and oil with collage on canvas in the style of Chinese ink painting. Painted about a month after I got back from studying abroad there during college, lol.

3. What kinds of art do you do? I decorate cookies and cakes. I also paint (abstract)

4. What kind of art does FI/H do? Paint, draw, tattoo

5. What kind of art have you always wanted to try? I wish I could tackle realism. Photography also

6. Favorite Artists? I love the photography of Andy Hartmark (friend of a friend), our tattoo artist's painting, and classical and renaissance art

7. What inspires you artistically? What stifles you? Inspires: emotion. Stifles: lack of confidence
