    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     I would say that is correct. It's a big step from friend to fiancee and they are sending some pretty clear signs.

    We go and visit them every once in a while. I have no idea what I could have done to piss them off. I'm always very polite. I'm really just at a loss. I think they just don't like him that much and it rubs off on me.

    Alright you have plenty of time to make a guest list= more that a year. You should chill out about the guest list. A guest list is usually prepared a year or less in advance.

    But see asking for money, is NOT polite.  My guess is you've done some other similar behavior which you didn't think was rude but actually was.  Or there are some other family issues at play here that you aren't aware of.  Family dynamics are very complicated sometimes and it seems that there are some here.
