he has to have two front teeth extracted on thursday, wednesday is an exam for bloodwork to make sure there *should* be no complications, and then thursday is the day im going to be on edge all day worrying about him. Since hes a pug, I know there are serious risks with anesthesia but he has to have this done

I've also been known to run bites under cold water to help numb them up. Or try an ice pack. I have a CW who swears by slathering Purell on her bites, but I've never tried that.

Aww, poor Vin. I'm sure he'll be fine, but I totally understand worrying. And dental work is ridiculously expensive.

Aww, he will be OK. I know it is hard not to worry. We hate leaving our dogs at the vet even when they aren't under anesthesia.

Hey guys. We went to the lake this weekend and it was so nice to get out of Fargo. Haha Lucy was so pooped when we got home yesterday. I posted on Friday that one of Ben's GM who eloped in April didn't invite us to his ahr, which is this weekend. Turns out he didn't invite a few others of his close friends either and people were kinda talking amongst themselves about it. Well, he called us yesterday apologizing that our invitations were "overlooked" so I guess now we are going. It's at a farm back home next Saturday. No clue what to wear. Gah. For real though, he didn't invite any of us. He honestly thought we would just show up.

I seriously slept like 9 1/2 hours last night. I needed it so badly.  Saturday was sooo wonderful.  Thursday sucked, but once Friday hit things got better.  I'm working on a thread with pics and stories as we speak!

Nebb- a dab of clear nail polish will help with the itching. I had one right where my high heel rests, try scratching and driving And I'm sure Vin will be ok.

I hope this week goes fast. H leaves for WI today, and wont be back till Friday. We had a productive weekend  though, I love getting things done around the house.

Morning. It hasn't been a good one for me, so I hope it has been for you guys.

I got a new debit card over the weekend, but I tried it a couple of different places and it didn't work. I called this morning to find out why, now, neither of the cards are working. Yup, security put a hold on it. There were charges for a plumbing and supply place, which obviously I didn't buy, Netflix and Gamefly, both of which H pays for, calls to Hong Kong. I may be out a couple hundred dollars, and I'm PISSED. Luckily it's a debit card, so you can't use it after you overdraw, but jeez, I need that money!

Sorry, I needed to vent a bit.

On the upside, my vacation starts on Sunday, and I have an appointment on Wednesday to see LO's heartbeat. Yay!

Morning. I have vacation next week, and now it feels like I have a ton to get done this week before I go. I tried getting the bulk of my work done last week, but of course nothing went right so I am stuck with a crappy week. AND- I still don't know if I got approved for a promotion or not. I just want to know either way! That's what you get with a big company, I guess.

SEWF, will they credit your account? When my debit card was stolen, WF did an investigation and then gave me the money back from the charges that I didn't make.

Denise- Sorry about Sasha, that sucks!
Nebb- Vicks Vapo Rub saved my life in the Dominican Republic. Really helps with the itchy scratchies.

Had a dream about knotties.  Blue and I had a magic dryer, if I put stuff in one side, it'd come out hers.  We sent all sorts of stuff to each other.  Then, Nebb was at my workshop and kept hanging out in the corner just watching everyone. 


Played golf on Saturday morning and, although I sucked, I did get most of my shots up off of the ground.  That made me so happy. Now I just need to work on my putting.  It's no good to get the ball to the green in two or three shots if you 7,000 shots to drop it in the hole.  I'd get to the green in 3 and walk away with an 8.  Frustrating!

We'll be over 100 degrees again today.  We're on course to set a record for 100 degree days in a row.

No evac yet, but the newest fire west of CO Springs has closed down the highway about 15 miles down the road from them.  On a positive note, the Air Force has been cleared to help with the fire fighting so they're going to be bringing in some huge bombers that can go as low as 150 feet and target drop retardant.  I really hope it slows down these fires.  The one near Ft. Collins is really bad, almost 300 houses just gone.

I actually started playing golf about 5 years ago, but am finally getting lessons.  H was trying to teach me, but it didn't work for two reasons, #1-he's a leftie and #2- he's my H and if seemed like he was criticising me. That never goes over well.

I'm glad your parents haven't been evacuated yet.  Still doing the rain dance over here (sorry, Florida)

Side note, when JCB, BK and I met in Vegas, the men all sat on one side and were jostling for the perfect seat, turns out they were ALL left handed.

I don't even attempt golf anymore. Let's just say I have a problem holding onto the club. H loves going to the driving range though, so I just watch and offer unsolicited advice on how to improve (my justification is that I worked at a golf course and he never did, so clearly I'm the expert of us 2).

Oh hey, the sun came out. Maybe now the river will get out of our backyard.

SEWF--that's super crappy/annoying.

BK--my cousin that lives that way is getting "ashed on" and they evacuated the town 10 minutes from him so he's waiting around too. Scary stuff.

We leave for our honeymoon tomorrow! I am 90% packed, just gotta pick up some books and an underwater camera and throw a few other things in my suitcase. I'm a little nervous that Debby is gonna screw with our flight out of Miami, so fingers crossed.

My stepdad has his special seat at different houses because he's left-handed. So am I, but I also have my special seats that aren't on the end so I've just learned to deal with it. I like my spot and don't wanna move.

Awesome pictures. It's great she loves water so much. Atticus freaks out whenever I get the hose out to water the plants, granted I do mist him, but he's a chicken butt ;)

He had his 3rd puppy class Sat. he did really well, but I see us investing in Intermediate classes. H was yelling at him to hurry up and grow up already.
