Good morning!

Y I Oughta

JCB- it is near UPMC Shadyside. I actually work right across the street from the hospital. The turkey was a few blocks up from there. I will not be seeing Titanic. I don't really care for live action movies in 3D unless it's like HP or something magical. H gets sick from them so we really only see the cartoons in 3D.

Obviuosly, I don't care about historical inaccuracies.

I've only gone to one 3D movie- Pirates of the Caribbean 18 or whatever it is.

I hated it- it was hard to watch, and the 3D made it darker still. I did actually like the 3D in the previews or right before th movie started though.

That's why I don't like it. 3D takes more "serious" movies and turns them into a gimmick. 3D is okay for cartoons, kid's movies, or movies like Journey to the Center of the Earth (saw that one in 3D) because they have a certain element to them that just makes it fit.

But movies like HG, Titanic, etc, 3D takes away from the tone and makes it goofy.

Mehg I went through and read a lot of the Peter Pan ones. And rolled my eyes at some of them because in my narcissism I knew that none could compete with my love. The angry sex one did make me laugh though. And now I really want to start my Pan story but sadly it will be a few years probably.

Good morning everyone!

FI and I went to go see HG last night with my brother.  When we got home from the movie, we found a nice little note on our apartment that said that they are coming in today and tomorrow to do inspections on the apartments to check all the appliances and check the buildings for structural issues.  NBD, we just had a lot of clutter and stuff laying around and I needed to clean the main bathroom because the cats had kicked out some litter from the litter box.

I also got a call from my recruiter yesterday and I'm going to finish the rest of my processing to get in to the Air Force, and then I will officially be in the Delayed Entry Program.  All I will have to wait for is my date for Basic Training.  I'm excited and nervous at the same time because there is a chance I would be scheduled to leave before August.  In that case, we would have to cancel everything and just eat the deposits. 

I work tonight and I'm off tomorrow night.  Probably going to go to NitroJam, which is basically an exhibition thing for drag racers.  That's part of the deal FI made wtih me about seeing The Vow and HG (which I loved both by the way).
