Re: Crying

• I choked up a bit when reciting my vows and a couple tears were shed, but not full on crying.

• Dad and Mom bawled... I didn't cry, got a bit teary, but no tears formed, it might have been because I'd have been smiling all day. DH got teary eyed as well... So Koolaid.

• I cried tears of koolaid.

• I snot bubble cried at some points. I didn't think I would, but I sure did.
• DH didn't cry, I thought for sure I would weep the whole time, but I didn't. I had a little trouble getting the vows out. When I was supposed to say "from this day forward" I waited a loooong time, and finally just blurted out "from today" and everyone laughed. After that I was fine again.
• It was my biggest fear, but I was actually surprised that I was so calm the day of,my first response when I walked into the church was "hi baby".

My MOH cried, we did not.

• I cried a step after going down the aisle. I was done by the end of the aisle. H teared up during the song.

• We both cried and a bunch of our guests cried too. Our friends had to explain to their daughter why she was crying even though she was really happy. It was adorable.
• I'm hoping I'll be too nervous/excited to cry, but I probably will. FI has already said he will. It's weird, but I'm looking forward to seeing my dad cry :) I've only seen him cry a few times; my sister and I have bets on who starts crying first.

I cry at everything sappy and romantic. I cried at Marley and Me the other night. I cried last night multiple times while reading Voyager in the Outlander series. I just started crying just now because I watched Chandler propose to Monica (and I've seen this episode five million times). I was a blubbering mess at my cousin's wedding where I was a BM, and my sister's wedding where I was a MOH. I've cried at every wedding I've been to, no matter how close I am to the couple... except my own. my makeup was all waterproof to stand up to tears, but it was only made necessary because of the heat, I was sweating so bad. H kinda teared up when he saw me, but because I couldn't see him crying (even with contacts, my eyesight wasn't that good), I was able to hold it together. it ended up being a funny ceremony as opposed to a sappy one, so the tears stayed gone.

• I was smiling when I walked in, because we'd been laughing about J's tie not being all the way up, and that I'd forgotten to tell him not to lock his knees.
Then, I saw the picture my SIL took of us walking in, and my Dad is choked up.
J was incredibly intent on focusing on anything but the cameras (and sweating up a storm). When he started to say his vows, and I looked at him, I knew his "holding them back" face. So I considered that tears for him. Then, when we kissed, and they queued up the Van Halen song, I got teary eyed. No waterfalls, though.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
• I didn't. I felt like an bad not crying too, but I did get very teary eyed hugging my dad after walking down the aisle.

H got teary eyed.
I thought for sure I would, and H warned me that he definitely would, but when the time came we were both just grinning from ear to ear. No tears. I did, however, cry quite a bit during the best man's toast. ETA: Our friend who served as officiant choked up a bit when he announced us as husband and wife. That was so sweet.

Posted by ohwhynot
Almost exactly the same thing here! We cried when rehearsing the vows while we were alone (a lot!) but then on the day itself we were just smiling. There were tears welling up, but none eventuated! I cried watching the video when our friend did our reading and choked up, and when my MOH did her speech and choked up, although I didn't cry at the time! haha.

• I know I'll cry. I'm totally lame like that.
