I'm too old for this Sh!t

Re: I'm too old for this Sh!t

  • I agree...I’m too old to be getting trashed every weekend. I don’t' do it any weekend. It used to take a morning to recover now it takes days. I'll pass...

I'm also too old to be babysitting my drunk friends. I'm not their mother, yet here I am trying to get their drunk selves to a safe place.

I'm too old to giggle at the IT tech title "Certified Penetration Tester" but I still do.

I'm too young to NOT get carded. Actually, I’m not but thankfully I still get carded.

I loved that show, and no one remembers it. I loved Ryan Reynolds "Billy" long before he was cool.

I always kind of liked her. The first time I cut all of my hair off (during the time the show was airing) , I took her picture in and got it cut "brooke" style.
ETA: I'm going to buy myself those DVD's for Christmas

Except I still get mistaken all the time and my effed up PA license makes a lot of bar tenders think its fake.

And I'm too young to require 8 hours of sleep every night and yet I gotta have a full 8 hours or my day sucks.

That was my show! All the good nickelodeon shows from the early 90s need to have their own channel. Do you remember the one really pale blonde (I think her name on the show was Angel or Ashley?) she was later on Dead Like Me on Showtime?

Anyone remember Swan's Crossing? It was only on for a few months, but it stared a young Sarah Michelle Gellar.

I do! I also remember that my brother loved it and then my mom told me it was a soap opera, but I was confused as there wasn't any soap.

It's like when I was sad "pop" wasn't a specific type of soda.

I enjoyed Hey Dude. And also the fact that Melody went on to marry Ben Stiller. And Clarissa Explains it all. Where Clarissa went on to make the terrible, horrible Nine Dead which is available on the Netflix Instant thingie.

I'm too old to be drinking and partying every weekend and to not care about consequences.

I'm too young too to feel this old. I'm only 27 and it seems like I'm 45 when I look at my life compared to what some friends are doing.
I am too old to pretend to like people who are stupid. Coworkers listen up. I am too young to worry as much as I do about retirement. I am obsessed with preparing for the future.
    Posted by mica001
Actually, I don't think you can be too young to start planning for retirement. You're not going to be able to accumulate enough assets to live off of for 40+ years if you start at age 35. Too many young people think they have all the time in the world to start saving for their future or will have SS to fall back on.

    So... it's a good thing you're planning.
