Thanks! Fun story - I live in a warm climate. It ended up being 90 on my wedding day. I did the place cards a week before the wedding and put them in a plastic tub. Well, my coordinator unpacked them and they had started to turn... fuzzy. Thankfully she was able to wipe them down, but OMG, ew.

AATB - I was a little worried about fall theme overkill. I even considered doing chocolate and teal or purple and green for colors. But we got married in October because we're both from the northeast and we love fall. And orange roses are my favorite flower. But yeah, I tried to reign myself in. It helped that our venue was really nice, so we only had to worry about some table decoration, really.

Thanks everyone! Another fun story: my florist was a friend of H's coworker. We had NO idea how they would turn out, since she does them from home as a side business. But she gave us a big discount. I LOVED them. I told her I wanted orange roses and fiddlehead ferns for the girls and roses and mini callas in mine. She got me orange and red roses, red callas, fiddlehead ferns, coffee berries, orange orchids and some greenery. My bouquet is drying in our den now! Orchids don't dry that well, but it's okay. She kept wanted to put crystals on my bouquet and I said no. She put a few on anyway, but it turned out well. H had a calla lilly bout and the guys had orange roses.

As for the dresses, originally we were going to get cinnamon brown, but at the last minute we ordered that dark red. Which we all decided we liked more. I loved only having 2 BMs. It was so easy. Plus, they're friends with each other and both local so they went accessory shopping together on their own.

It does, because I agree. And thank you. I really like pick-ups (don't judge) and the ones on my dress were subtle enough that it didn't look like I was drowing in whipped cream. And the beading on the empire waste was just enough embellishment for me (there were a few crystals down the back, too). It was the first dress I tried on. I tried 4-5 more, then put it on again and bought it.
