Hiding grom's "excitement" advice

I posted this on the attire board as well, but I'll take help wherever I can get it!
So this may be a bit awkward, but my hubby-to-be is trying to find a way to hide his possible "excitement" during the wedding ceremony.  I asked the lady at the tux shop and she just giggled and said something about how tux pants can create an illusion.  I'm not really talking about the "illusion,"  I'm talking about the real deal.  Does anybody have any tips to help save us some embarassment?  Any body dealing with the same issue?

  • Um...what? Why would that even happen?
  • He thinks he will be that excited? Umm, I'd ask him how he hides that kind of thing....I don't really know, I've never had a penis.
  • ...This is a joke, right?!

How old is your fiance?  14?

Does it mean my husband doesnt love me if he didnt get a boner during our wedding ceremony?
  • Tell him to lay off the Cialis for a few days leading up to it?

If the question is legit and he actually thinks he's going to get a hard on while listening to the wedding vows, then yeah, tape it down like PP said, or wear a cup or something, I can't think of anything else that would hide it in tuxedo/suit pants since they're pretty thin.

Yes; that's where loving husbands hide the third ring during the ceremony.

  • Codpiece. He should definitely wear a codpiece.
  • The more I think about this the more I'm incredibly creeped out by it.

  • Wouldn't a tux jacket hide a boner anyways?**

**my question is not meant in any way to validate your terrible tenting predicament, being that this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

  • I, too, decided to let my fiance handle this question:

well he better! its their wedding day!

Soo... I guess wear it proud?
  • I'm still trying to figure out why he'd get a boner during the ceremony......that seems off.
  • Is your dress topless or something? I just don't understand why he'd be that type of excited.
  • Give him a BJ right before the ceremony.

  • Maybe they are virgins so he's excited about what comes after the vows?? I don't know that's all I can think of.

    Perfect answer!!!
  • have him take it off.
  • My DH chomped gum the entire ceremony to, he said, calm his nerves. Now I know what he was truly trying to calm....

I nearly spit out my soda when I read this!

I had no idea this was an issue. I like vegasgroom's cup idea. That way he can hide any unwanted "excitement" and be protected in case someone or something randomly hits him in that region. You never know what might happen, since it sounds like you're going to be having a crazy wedding!

  • Wouldn't the BJ just make him sleepy?  Or does Scott just not like cuddling?

    Hmm.
  • Can I be the first to say that I love having a guy on this board, if only to answer questions like these?

I think most men are supposed to be sleepy after that type of stuff, right? T is always wide awake..lame!
  • Well, some people laugh when they are nervous, some people cry... apparently this guy gets a boner. Each to his own, I guess.

  • Tell him to think of the women in his family naked?  Unless that would backfire.

No, that's so we can get out of having to give back rubs.  So before ceremony no problem; ok, let's go get married babe.
