Good morning everyone!  How are you all doing today?  How were your weekends?  Did anyone do anything fun?

I'm pretty optimistic about today.  I might actually be getting some good help at work

The Redskins pulled out a win against the Bears yesterday.  How?  I don't know.  I was unable to watch the game.  I was sure they'd lose, though, so I'm ecstatic.

I made some delicious beef brisket yesterday.  I should have written down the recipe as I went because it came out so well but I don't know how to make it again.

Today is my Tuesday so Im all good - I am expecting it to be slow at work since one of the guys I work with is out today and tomorrow for surgery and while thats great, it means I wll be bored as sin all afternoon. My weekend was pretty uneventful, we didnt end up going away for my husbands birthday because I felt fat (that SOUNDS stupid, but in reality none of my pants fit so I had nothing to wear) so we just went shopping and bummed around the house together and it was lots of fun.

Good morning!  I had a good weekend but it definitely flew by way too fast. We were preparing the house for the in-laws to come into town for the wedding (!!!!!) this weekend.  We still have so much to get done before Friday's rehearsal but at least the house is spotless and organized!

I cooked garlic lemon rosemary chicken last night and it was pretty much awesome.

My Friday and Saturday were fine, but I spent a good portion of yesterday pissed off. It's carried over into today. I'm hoping they leave me alone at work so I can leave early and go get some Christmas shopping done. That always puts me in a good mood.

Hi B! Its nice to see you optimistic again. I hope it lasts! Football was bad for me this weekend, with LSU and the Saints, but I didn't do any WR tasks for once so it was ultimately good.

I started week 2 with no added or artificial sugars on Saturday. Two more weeks until my b-pics and final fitting. I have GOT to stick with it.

Good Morning, Ladies!  We had a great weekend - dinner with friends on Saturday, then a big hike and friends over to our house for my birthday dinner yesterday.  I made pumpkin cheesecake, and found pumpkin ice cream at the store to go with it.  It was delicious, along with the brownie cheesecake my daughter made.  And, I got the snowshoes and trekking poles I wanted.

Yay for only 5 more days Shay, that's exciting!

My weekend was good.  I'm exhausted and I might be getting sick, so I'm staying home from work today.  It seems silly to take a sick day preemptively, but after the next day or two I won't really be able to take any time off until December because of all we've got going on at work and I'd rather avoid being sick than deal with being sick at work.

It was my FSS 20th birthday this weekend and we took him out for a very nice family dinner.  All he could talk about were plans for his 21st...

Other than that the only news is that I finally took my dress to be altered. It still fits and I still love it, so that was a big plus!

Morning ladies!

Good weekend for us. Went to a Lady A concert on Friday night with my sister, which was a ton of fun.  Got stuck on a closed Interstate 35 thanks to Obama. (Saw his car, that was kind of cool, right?)  Baby shower, and drinking way too much wine Saturday night.

Other than the hangover and horrific reffing at the Packer game last night, Sunday was good too!  Made our escort cards.  I'd AW them, but I'm sick of taking pictures of wedding stuff.

B- glad work should be a little better for you.

Sesh- can you just hide under your desk for the day? I've been tempted to do that before....

Shay- I'm super excited for you!  Today I woke up and went "OH! tomorrow I can check the 10-day forecast!" (I remember you doing that last week?

Mara- buy one of those rolls of cookie dough and drop the whole thing in the oven (just like Cher in Clueless. ha)

I envy your ability to shop early for Christmas!  My good intentions never quite make it into reality.  I'm also terrible at keeping a secret, so if I found something good for my FI it would kill me to not show him.

I really didn't do very much this weekend. Took my car in for service on saturday and got the main stone in my e-ring tightened because I noticed it was a bit loose. And yesterday I visitied my Grandfather and hung out with my sister at my house for a few hours.

I'm just not ready for it to be Monday yet. And I left my BlackBerry at home which makes me feel like something is missing in my life.

I have to budget for gifts so I usually buy certain thing with each paycheck. Plus I hate being rushed so I'd rather shop early and know I have plenty of time left. I'm getting H's birthday gift today, and even though his birthday is the day or so after Thanksgiving he will probably get it tonight. He knows what it is and will bug me about it until I hand it over. Other than that, I'm great at keeping gifts a secret.

This weekend was great! 2 friends from TN Tech (where I got my undergrad) came up to go to the UT Bama game. We got our @$$es whooped, but we had a blast tailgating and watching the game. Oh and we went to Cheddars for supper! Anyone ever heard of that place?

YAY for the upcoming weddings.

I'm ok with it being Monday, we had a great weekend, so I'm still in a good mood.  My make-up trial was awesome, I love the woman that did it.  Spent a lot of time with good friends this weekend, it was so nice to catch up.  In sports related news, my Brownies pulled out a win yesterday, and that pretty much made my month. Oh yeah and Brock Lesnar got knocked the fvck out too.  Ahh a good weekend indeed.

Someone tell me that I do not need to go waste five dollars on a pumpkin spice latte because spending five dollars on a coffee is stupid.  But I really want one...

It's not stupid, it's delicious. I only allow myself to get one pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks a year because it's expensive. Since I only get one, I don't feel bad.

Re: House. I am going to buy some sort of cookie scented candle at lunch today. I only have 15 minutes from the time I get home until the people arrive to see the house, and we have to be out of the house during that time, so I don't think I could do the cut and bake cookies either. I've got to do a few things during that 15 minutes, like dusting the fan in the bedroom- I somehow missed that yesterday during our cleaning spree.

ha ha but how do you choose when to get it?  Is it on a special day?  I do think that's a fabulous idea though.

We bought a new ceiling fan for the living room and moved the living room fan to the guest bedroom yesterday.  I scrubbed that sucker like no tomorrow.  The living room has vaulted ceilings and I can't reach it to clean it on a regular basis so while it wasn't too terribly bad, it definitely wasn't fun to clean.

I'm picking up my background check today, so that I can finally file for my visa. Hopefully, I'll be able to be back in the states before the end of the year.

This week needs to fly by. FI is coming to visit this Saturday for a week, and I haven't seen him since the beginning of September. Not only do I get to see him, I get  a week off work. =D

Thanks SC. Further complicating that mission is the fact that not 5 minutes after I posted that I was inflicted with the worst cramps I have ever had in my whole life. On the upside, they are 2 days early, so my chart forecasts I will not be bringing AF to the wedding or the honeymoon, even if we don't get pregnant this month. YAY!
