Clinking your glasses is a real thing and I really hope it doesn't happen at my reception. I find it incredibly annoying. It's not like I'm never going to kiss my husband. They can see it when I choose to kiss him.

Chels, she was the one who claimed to have a learning disability which is why she used text speak. I recall some backpedaling on her part once she started using real words pretty quickly but I could be wrong.

A make out session might have been a slight exaggeration on my part.  I had just never heard of this so I hope this is not a thing people expect.  I'd heard of the dollar dance and already told the DJ that it was not happening.  I guess I have not been to enough weddings in my life; I've never heard of half of the traditions I've read about on here.

I'm definitely not into the glass clinking = kiss thing either.

It's been done at every wedding I've been to. I need to figure out how to avoid it. Maybe making out once would sufficiently gross everyone out enough to not keep doing it....

One of the girls on E dresses up as a Disney princess as a side job. I believe she holds tea parties. There was lots of "We should have Disney Princess Tea Parties!" right down to "calling" princesses to be. <div>

It is. Just to kiss though. I always thought it was awful until I had to use it this weekend at DH's BFF's wedding. The brides's sisters kept coming up to her and trying to her involve her in the drama, so the BM's wife and I would clink our glasses so the Groom had to grab her and kiss her and distract her from the drama. We did it 4 times, which is sad. Her sisters suck.
