Well it looks like I missed a massive thread last night. By the time I logged in, it was over.

Work is all that's on the books this week. I put together a massive list of things that NEED to get done soon. I cant wait on H to get anything done, so I take it upon myself. Tomorrow the landscapers come to do all the beds, I'm so tired of looking at it, but I dont envy them working in the heat thats coming this way. Yuck.

I'm researching kennels for the pup, so we can get to SC in August. Is it weird I'm nervous just looking at places online? We'd still need the pet sitter for the cat, but we need someone who can take care of the pup full time. I'm an anxious momma.

DJ, insomnia is the worst.  And nothing worse than dealing with jerky bosses when you are exhausted and cranky.  I hope you can catch up on you sleep soon!

It's going to hit 100 degrees this week.  Thank goodness our AC is finally fixed.

It's not even horribly hot here, it's just so humid.  Blegh.  I'm so glad i decided on my hair being completely up for the wedding.  It'd be a frizzfest otherwise.

Yeah, chevy makes tons of trucks, and the past few years, most all dealerships have a lot of them, they reduce the price by a ton to make room for the next years model. I bought my truck in July and got if for about 15k less than what it would have sold for two months earlier. I should add that, that's the way it works around here. I've never car shopped in other areas lol.

Two of my neighbors own dealerships, I'll chat em up and see what they have to say. It's nice when you aren't in a super rush to buy something and have time to look around for the deals :)

Well thank you for the tip! I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled around here for sure, but if there's a good deal at a reasonable distance from here (where the savings would be greater than the cost of a plane ticket and gas back), I would seriously consider it.

Proof that God has a sense of humor - I just got back from a press conference for Habitat for Humanity.  It was at a build site.  It fucking POURED RAIN THE ENTIRE TIME and I had to stand in that stupid shiiiit for 20 minutes.  I look like a wet fucking dog.  What the actualfuck.  Lol, at least I don't have a television job.

Well hello there! I've been MIA the past couple of days, been working on getting the house ready for the movers since they come on Monday to pack our stuff. I'm in that weird, in-between stage of packing where I don't want to pack stuff I know I'm going to need over the weekend, but I'm afraid that if I don't pack it in the stuff we're taking in the car, then I'll forget and the movers will pack it on their truck.

Bk, here's hoping you guys get some rain. That must be so scary. I would feel so helpless.
