But it's not a stretch Chelsea.  It's exactly what you do.  You started a controversial thread, repeatedly stuck your foot in your mouth, bailed and then came back this morning talking about everything but the thread you started (in which you left questions unanswered).  You may be done but people can still call you out for starting things you won't finish.

Yes they can. I can also choose to back away from the keyboard about it (like someone even suggested that I should have done last night and I eventually did because work was over and I got to go home). 

DJ was implying that I was trying to call attention away from the thread (at least that's what I got from it) by posting about other things in here.  That's what I called ridiculous.

Oh man, I thought people were referring to the Dear Prudence thread, not the poll thread.  This makes so much more sense to me now.  I thought DJ was saying I'm having side conversations in here to draw away from people reading the Dear Prudence thread from last night.

I was just confused who was talking about what.  I didn't think the shoes were horribly controversial, just more of a "hey guys look at this idea that flopped".  It honestly awsn't meant to draw attention away from anything, just me showing something I came across this morning that tied into the slavery commentary from last night in the Prudence thread.
