I rented 8 Mile, it's a good film. I remember some years ago when he did the duo with Elton John, who agreed with what Eminem was trying to explain about some of his music, that he was not writing songs about what he believed in or agreed with sometimes, but what he saw in the world - his world. 

I always have sensed a honestly and a striving to be better, too.I also have a soft spot for people who did not grow up with American dream.

That, and he really is just from an artistic point of few a good lyricist.

I believe his a smidgen older than me, but I could be mistaken. I'm thinking early 30s. Old enough to know better, but still too young to care. Ha!
